The February Music/Romance challenge is back! I know some people don't like overlapping challenges at certain times of the year, but anyone should feel free to skip the ones they don't want to participate in.

Crap, almost forgot about the Quadrennial Leap Day Challenge. And forgot to take vacation in advance. Only work 3 days a week (12 hour shifts) and of course am working all three days of the Challenge.

I just PM'd Dimension X, who ran it last year but hasn't posted on the forum in a month and made a list for the B-movie challenge but didn't record anything. If he doesn't respond, I can make a list thread.

Is there a Historical Appreciation challenge this year?

I was going to step up for the SF/F and Animation Challenges if they ended up orphaned this year.

We’ll see, but LJG usually likes to do the pair of them.

Yeah, LJG did a lot of work on the SF/F Challenge last year getting it set up for this year so I would be surprised if they didn't do it but it sure is nice to have someone willing to do it if that doesn't work out. Thanks for being here if we need you coyoteblue!

In the past, I’ve run it when it was orphaned, but someone else would have to this year. I’m in grad school now and between school and work, there is no way I would have time to run it. It is a challenge that I’ve always enjoyed however, so if someone else wants to step up, I would take part in watching.

I've been bad at participating in challenges lately but I created the historical challenge threads. They'll need some cleanup later.

Thanks for the offer! I still plan on doing both July and August's challenges this year. I'll get the Sci-fi/Fantasy one started in the next couple days. If something comes up, I'll definitely reach out!

Animation Challenge list thread is now listed. I have officially expanded the challenge to cover the weekend, so it now ends on Sept. 3rd at dawn. This will be a change for this year only.
