Your TV or even player itself may also have a sync delay setting. If this problem is specific to a certain player or input (example, a 4K or Blu-ray player, not live TV), you may want to check there...

Rarely, if ever, do I watch a movie in one sitting. I'll try my best if it's a review title, but realistically the only time I can rope off 2-3 hours at once is a sick day.
