Same. It's not officially summer until I do my annual viewing of Jaws. (Of late, usually in the theater. Last year one of the film's cameramen spoke and did a Q&A at the screening I went to, which was really cool.) I'm moving away from physical media, but will definitely pick up the digital 4K when codes pop up on the secondary market. It'll be the third format of this I own.

Definitely will be picking this up!

I should be getting my first 4K TV next week, so I can actually get excited about these announcements!

Waiting for reviews before I purchase. I'm guessing the 4K disc is bare bones, so if they screw up the transfer, I'm fine with my Blu-ray version.

I doubt they will screw up the transfer. Haven't all of Spielberg's 4K releases been pristine so far?

I love this movie but have maybe only watched my BD copy once. I don't know if I really need the 4K on this.

Well, the 4K of Jurassic Park has some haloing and DNR, but CE3K, E.T., and Schindler's List have all been great. Still, it's a wait and see for me.

The Amazon price is currently $35, which I'm sure will change. Best Buy is $25 (+$4 shipping), including the steelbook version.

Now that is a good-looking steelbook.

Yeah. Even though I'm in a media-purchasing moratorium at the moment, I couldn't resist pre-ordering that steelbook.

Assuming the steelbook is sans booklet?

Re: Jaws -- 45th Anniversary Edition -- 4K UHD/BD -- 6/2/20

Yeah, I've been trying to cut back as well during these times and not even sure I need yet another version, but that steelbook is damn nice looking. Pretty tempting.

*edit - looks like the pre-order is dead for the steelbook. The digibook can still be pre-ordered.

**edit 2 - pre-order is working again.

The Best Buy SteelBook does not appear to include the booklet. However, the Zavvi Collector's Edition seems to be the most complete package with SteelBook, booklet, art cards, and slipcover. Of course, it's also a lot more expensive.

That's a nice looking set. This is a tangent, but what the heck to people ever do with "art cards"? Does anyone have a use for those things?

Pre ordered the BB steelbook. Printed extras are far less important to me these days.

Also pre ordered the Top Gun SB while I was at it.

the Best Buy exclusive steelbook for Rocket Man came with a separate booklet. I imagine they'll do something like that again for this

I have the Blu-ray exclusive digibook from Best Buy. Might go with their Steelbook this time around.

I keep them in the case or box with the booklet and other physical materials. I'm not sure what else we're supposed to "do" with them.

Re: Jaws -- 45th Anniversary Edition -- 4K UHD/BD -- 6/2/20

Looks like the Zavvi set has already sold out. They still have a slightly more expensive option with a T-shirt available. Remember when Best Buy and other stores would give you a T-shirt when pre-ordering?

When did Best Buy dump free shipping?
