Yes if it is a Netflix rental but if i bought it I watch it in two separate sittings or once during football season.

I must assume one could safely substitute ‘movie’ or ‘DVD’ for BD in the OP.

What the fuk difference would it make which storage format it is?

That said, I do find that if I rent a stream which has a finite expiration date, I’m way more likely to actually finish it in one sitting.

If I own it (either in the cloud or on a physical format) then who cares?

If I check out physical media from the library, the chance of even watching it at all goes way down.

ETA: fuck, this thread is 2 years old? Fuck

Rarely, if ever, do I watch a movie in one sitting. I'll try my best if it's a review title, but realistically the only time I can rope off 2-3 hours at once is a sick day.

IDK...it varies. Maybe I'm tired then I won't but maybe I'm tired and the movie rocks and I will. Maybe I gotta do some other stuff when someone calls. Lots of other stuff to factor in as well for me to say for certain.

Usually one sitting. If I don't have time for the whole movie, I'll switch and watch a TV episode or two.
