My SteelBook appears to be stuck in Louisville, KY. It's been "In transit to next facility" for a couple days.

I live in Louisville and it hasn't prevented any other packages or mail from arriving, just Best Buy. Weird.

I was kind of surprised how fast mine arrived. Ordered on Tuesday evening and it came today. Looks to have been shipped from Louisville as well.

I just checked again, and the package has now "Arrived at USPS Regional Destination Facility" in my city as of this afternoon. Still no delivery estimate, but hopefully soon.

At long last, the SteelBook arrived this afternoon. Fortunately, no dents or dings. It survived unscathed.

I'm pleased to see that Best Buy is now shipping SteelBooks in box mailers rather than padded envelopes. I'd like to believe that the article I wrote last August shaming them after I received a totally wrecked copy of Avengers: Endgame may have had something to do with that.

Im only buying Jaws 4K for the long bonus features behind the scenes stuff since the older DVD is hard to track down.
Now if they could do a proper special anniversary blu ray releases for Jaws 2 and Jaws 3 Ill be a happy swimmer

I'll eventually pick this up, but for some reason I find the "45th anniversary edition" naming off putting. I know they seem to need a 5 year spaced anniversary excuse to release any catalog movie nowadays, but I think something like 45 and 55 should be skipped for obvious reasons being near a true huge anniversary.

I was very happy with my Blu-ray digibook but decided to shell out for the Steelbook. My local Best Buy had several copies in stock so I chose curbside pickup. Very painless process -- I was probably in the parking lot 3 minutes, tops.

This is just a general comment, not meant to be directed toward any one individual. But, I can remember when this forum would discuss everything about a video edition, except the film itself ... because ... I mean really ... how important is the actual film? For that there is the movie sub-forum, but you won't find a discussion about it there either, even in the past.
But, at least we had people talking about the merits of the video presentation and sound presentation and how it compared to other releases, screen grabs and the like.
Now, you get a whole bunch of chatter about when you got the video, or where is the shipment, or when do you expect the shipment and the oh-so-precious comments on the condition of the steelbook edition when it arrived. You know, that overpriced edition that loses so much of its value the moment you open it.
Oh ... and maybe a couple of words burped out about the video itself. Maybe.
Excuse my candor, but ... a rather sad state of affairs.

Great review of the movie ctyankee!
A lot of us have already mentioned how it looks and sounds. Not sure how technical you wanted the discussions to be.
Since you're nitpicking, I laugh every time people talk a lot about screenshots. I think that's insanely silly to nitpick that stuff. But people do - a lot. Look at that other forum to read page after page on stuff like that.

I was initially slow on picking up this release and local Best Buy B&Ms sold out of the standard release and the Steelbook.
Luckily, I found a Walmart about 10+ minutes away that had plenty of copies of the standard release. Picked up a copy tonight.
Hoping to watch it on my modest setup over the weekend!
