I thought Gyllenhall was good. The Scooby-Doo short was the highlight.

I thought the joke swap was a let down. The joke Jost did about his wife and the Kendrick Lamar joke that Che did were the best.

Didn't know the Carpenter chick was in the Boy Meets World sequel thingy - never heard her music until tonight. At the risk of sounding like an old fart, it's quite sad what passes for popular music these days. Did she sing a single word/note live or was it 100% lip-synced?

As it usually goes with sequels, having a rabbi this year was a fail compared to the "civil rights leader" last year.

That "Me Espresso" song is a big hit, but I've never heard it before. Yuk. She certainly is great to look at, though.

Realized that 4 of the last 5 shows have had a musical number in the monologue. The one that didn't was host Dua Lipa.

They should have opened with the NYPD presser on character actors getting punched instead of a boring Trump sketch.

Scooby Doo, Southwest Airlines, Cheap Fashion ad and (Ego Nwodim) was pretty hot in that.

The Beautiful Boys was pretty weak.

You know maybe it is time for the season to end when it is light outside around 8:30pm during the live show.

In respect to Belushi, Hartman, and all the past and former SNL greats and keeping the punk rock vibe I waited until 1am or after I finished Ricky Stanicky to watch the show.

Not a bad season ender. Man, it's gonna be a long wait until fall.

My takeaway is that Jake is extra good at dressing up and playing silly characters.

Other than that, usual hit and miss SNL in its current phase.
