"5-Timers" wasn't really a thing till Tom Hanks reached 5 and they did a sketch about it. I think it was just because they were able to get Steve Martin, Elliot Gould, and Paul Simon to come down to 30 Rock. After that they started making a big deal when someone hosted for the 5th time.

Mentioning that the club needs to make room. Buck Henry is the only member to have passed away. Paul Simon shows up in 5 timers sketches but has not hosted 5 times.
Now I'm wondering if that was the first WU (maybe since Chevy did WU) without a desk piece.

That 5 timers club sketch was a lot fun although ran a bit long. Bonus to see Elliott Gould again. Thank God he stood up at the end. I thought he might be ill or unable to walk any longer. Also, how great did Candice Bergen look? I've seen her in TV shows and movies over the last several years and she did not look this good. It's nice to see both still working.

Maybe it is not spoken but implied that Alec Baldwin should not appear in a 5 timers sketch or on SNL period.
That second LCD Soundsystem song was catchy but the first song was terrible.
Sucs WU was so short. Maybe the 5 timers sketch cut into their time.
