I never disliked Wiig like a lot of people did near the end of her time on the show, but her parts were just awful tonight.

The second half was better than the first half.

Che’s joke that Colin had to read

I quit after Weekend Update.
Holy hell it was terrible. Nothing and I mean nothing funny before a few jokes landed on WU. I went past annoyed or irritated, I actually felt bad for the cast tonight.
If anything past WU was actually worth watching, I missed it.

Only things that made an impression were Phoebe Waller Bridge/Britney Spears Masterclass, and the kid playing pranks on his dad. (And was the cameltoe on Britney intentional or just a happy accident?) The graduation was okay. And the CGI Pete Davidson with the dark rings around his eyes was kind of funny in an otherwise awkward and bizarre skit.

And, ye gods, Wiig's bits were awful. Only thing possibly worse was the one with four Kyle Mooneys. One of him sucks enough.

Thie dreams sequence was good thought it was not intended to get the biggest laughs

I hope that was not Kate McKinnon's subliminal way of saying goodbye to the show.

She would deserve a proper sendoff in a live show at the NY studios.

The Martin Short sketch was the worst.

Chloe Fineman as Britney Spears

Rest of the episode was a snooze but the cold open with Trump and the Class of Covid19 was hilarious!

Alec Baldwin playing Trump and whoever writes the material is genius

Hope they are able to perform in the studio again next season because they have run these 'zoom' skits into the ground. These 'At Home' episodes have been a golden opportunity for Chloe Fineman. As a first year cast member she has really been able to shine in her solo skits. She's hilarious and a great mimic, possibly the next Kate McKinnon?

Dreams was better than anything I saw in the first hour of the show.

Who do we think is gone? Kate probably. Pete and Cecily seem likely. Keenan is going to be on the show until he dies, and I have come all the way around to being okay with it.

Not as good as the previous "at home" outing.

Was the guy in Boyz II Men actually playing guitar? It was obviously a right-handed guitar being "played" left-handed, not exactly new (there was some guy named "Jimmy" or something that used to do that...), but it looked like it was still strung for a right-handed player.

Yeah that was easily the worst of these At Home episodes.

It would be a huge loss if McKinnon left.

Nobody else on the current cast can match her talents.

I can't believe that someone paid money to have Che read that shitty "joke" on TV. It was like paying to throw out the first pitch and throwing the ball into the dugout.

There are some left-handed guitarists who do learn to play with the strings strung for a right-handed player. The lead guitar guy in Roger Water's band a while back was like that. As a guitar player, I can't imagine how hard that is to do.

In some weird way, besides the graduation skit, Boyz II Men was the highlight of the show. Even the "What's Wrong with this Picture" skit wasn't as funny as it normally is (though I did laugh)

That Pee Wees Playhouse/children's show parody was like nightmare inducing.

That was "Babyface" Edmonds who's produced a lot of their stuff, but not a member of the group. Not sure if he was playing there, but he can play.

No offense but if SNL had regular shows in New York I doubt Boyz II Men would ever be a musical guest.

I'm a lefty that plays guitar right-handed (the only thing I can do right-handed!); I tried playing a left handed guitar, but could not crack it.

Anyhoo, I thought the last few episodes were okay given the circumstances, but I can't wait until they are in front of a crowd again.

1) WTF is "Goan?"

2) What's Colin Jost going to all day if he quits SNL? Stay home all day and jerk off to pictures of his wife on the internet?

It's funny. The stay at home ones I keep thinking Scarlet just tossed water on him, or she is doing some of the camera work LOL Lucky bastid.

At some point in time, she is going to be back making movies.

Seriously, Jost's career is rather interesting. He is 37 and started working at SNL in his early 20s.
And working at SNL is the only thing he has done, except for writing the script for one movie that nobody ever heard of.
Seth Meyers has only been the host of Late Night for six years, so no opening there seems soon.
My point is that working at SNL seems to burn a lot of people out, but IDK what else Jost is cut out to do if he did leave.
But I guess he could just live off his movie star wife.

That was my first thought: It's not like Jost has this burgeoning film career, so why would he leave?

I also didn't realize they were married.
