What a pandering episode this was. The monologue was nothing but Lopez bragging about a great year she's having and mentioning that she just turned 50. Followed by her stripping down to that famous awards show outfit she wore years ago that many said was too revealing at that time. And then we have two skits within 30 minutes where her character is a hot wife to a plain guy and another where she's the hottest of three sisters.

The writers must have taken the week off because the funniest skit of the show was the musical guest rapping.

I know Pete Davidson's Chad is a recurring character who women find inexplicably attractive, but we are talking about a guy who went from Ariana Grande and Kate Beckinsale to now Margaret Qualley and Cindy Crawford's 18 year old daughter. Chad is real.

The only funny parts of the show was Weekend Update and the cold open where she wasn't included in the skit.
I'm sure someone in her 'entourage' presented ideas of what they thought would be funny which the writers were told to work with.

Was anyone else shocked when the new Asian cast member grabbed Mikey Day's cock to see how big it was? I never thought something like that would make it past network censors...

I also noticed this. The monologue was self-congratulatory and cringe-worthy, and the first 3 skits were about her being hotter and/or out of the other person's league.

And J-Lo's singing is horrible. It's definitely true that she always has ghost-singers for her albums. A modern-day Milli-Vanilli.

I actually liked a fair bit of the episode. SNL is always up and down. I thought the home makeover sketch was pretty funny.
