The opening sketch was a good one, kind of nose dived from there...Pete Davidson looking unhealthy again, every time I see those dark bags under his eyes I figure he's using, he's like millennial version of John Belushi without the talent or SNL career

I guess the new thing for musical guests is to do theatrical performances?
I really like the new cast members and glad to see them getting so much air time so quickly. Chloe Fineman looks a bit like Lily Depp. Hope Bowen Yang doesn't get stuck doing gay asian guy every week.

I think this is gonna be Kate McKinnon's last year. She is already in practically every sketch and it feel like time for her to move on. Please take Kyle Mooney with you.

I think when the music they make is so dull and cookie-cutter, they have to do something theatrical to make it interesting. But considering her looks, Camila Cabello could just sing names out of the phone book and I'd be tuning in. She's awfully easy on the eyes. Ears, not so much.

I hope not since she is the best cast member on the show and she has spent less time on the show than Kenan who has 1/10 the talent she has.

This is probably her 7th season since she joined in 2012

(not the first example of this by a long shot. I recall Dominque Dunne doing an episode of Hill Street Blues where she played an abused teenager, and when she showed up for makeup they realized she didn't need any due to the tuning she got from her boyfriend recently. Yeah, the one who ended up killing her.)

I'll hate to see her go too...personally I love the lesbian cat adoption agency skits even though they can be woefully uneven depending on which celebrity is with her in them.

But aside from being in nearly every sketch every week she has also been slowly racking up a ton of movie roles some in very high profile movies like Yesterday from this past summer or Bombshell, the Roger Ailes/me-too movement one that will be all over this Fall.

I don't think any SNL cast member bothered staying with the show once those kind of movie offers started coming in.

SNL is the only place she can work and consistently indulge her desire to play male characters, so maybe she will hang around.

Good episode, I thought. The Grouch, Dog Court, the old couple arguing about the sauce, Peter, Paula & Murray folk trio. Better than average episodes. David Harbour was good. Musical guest was decent, and... hot.

I was surprised they did not bring back Jason Sudekis to do Joe Biden.

Maybe next year since Woody Harrelson will probably be busy with movie projects.
