Maybe Swift will appear in some sketches though she hosted way back in 2009.

Enjoyed a good chunk of last night's episode but I may of just been in a good mood, their deliveries on Mid-Day News were all spot-on.

Really good episode. Top tier level monologue by PWB especially compared to the trash fire monologue the week before by Woody Harrelson. Taylor Swift was awesome as expected and glad to see the saxman get some shine.

Well it would appear NBC reads this forum and does not like JefftheAlpcaca as Taylors legs were covered up for both songs
A decent show PWB was awesome, loved her monolouge and love her, great to see her getting due credit for Fleabag! Overall the show was decent but not as good IMO as the week before...

The new additions seem great (I mean, I'd love for Bowen Yang to play a normal character and not just the Asian roles, but he's been good so far. Also, no way they'd get away with that Weekend Update bit without an Asian cast member, though I'm sure Gillis would have been game for it).
The Trump openings are kind of weak, but I give them a bit of a break because they probably have to rewrite that thing up until Saturday based on what Trump does.

When a opening monologue is that polished I always suspect the guest brought on their own writers. Is that typically the case?

Knowing how I feel about "video tricks" for the musical act, you can imagine how I felt when they showed that brief snippet of Taylor Swift preparing, and she, the piano, and background were all that green screen color. I was sure there was going to be some kind of CGI happening, luckily there was not.

Show has been doing fine without him so.... And yes I am still pissed he was with Kate...
