Thanks!

I will try to get all the popcorn and hotdog stands, that's the fastest way.

Do the individual portions that are lower drag down the total rating? My Kitsch was at 0.. I got it up to 1 by adding a ton of fence pieces along my grass areas. I am still earning tickets to get the Duff Pavilion and then need more for the final ride.... Once those are build, then I can look at trying to get my KOM raiting up. I'm at 2 presently... (Nausea:4, Grub: 3, Kitsch:1, Merch:3).

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

Just completed Krustyland today. Minutes later had the balloons to do. Finally won some donuts. 5 of them. Also I skipped the dog track race(because 99:1 odds is nowhere close to what I have been getting the last couple months seeing how I haven't won in months and do it 3x a day) for the first time prior to doing the balloons, not sure if either scenario caused a glitch for me to finally win donuts at the balloons or not, but it was two things that were different from every other time I have done the balloon game.

I think it just averages and doesn't round up. Get the Kitsch to 2 and you'll have 3 stars or increase one of the others by 1.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

Yep, gets the absolute value.

For example, in Canis Firebrand case the average is 2.75, since they don't use half decimals they just get the absolute number. iIn Springfield that would be a 2.5 score, in Krustyland you get a 2 KOM.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

That sucks on not rounding up. I'd have a 3 if they did.

Oh well.. I bought 6 more food stands and threw them down in an open spot I had.. got my Grub up to 4 which put my overall at 3. That's good enough for me now so that I don't waste too many of my tickets since I'm still building up to Duff Pavilion and then in a couple days the Toothchipper.

A 3 KOM got me a few more NPC people walking around which gives me some extra tickets a few times a day.

How much farther can this game go on? The majority of the major characters have been introduced. Yeah there will be some show tie-ins and oddball characters but I'm not sure how much more cooler this game will become.

It will be curious what the upcoming Treehouse of Horror event will look like as this will be the first time they've had a 'repeat' event and a lot has changed in the way EA does business with the game since then.

I agree that "core" secondary characters are getting thin, still I'd like see Jimbo, Dolph, Üter and few others. I don't know if anyone is exactly clamoring to get Lindsey Naegle, Cookie Kwan or Bill & Marty, though.

But without some changes it may be getting finite for long-term players.

I don't really watch the show any more nor could I name more than a dozen characters, just having fun with the game and I haven't slowed down a bit since downloading it in April. I picked up GTA V though so this game will take a backseat to that for now when I am home. TSTO is the best android game I have played despite how monotonous it is. Got some donuts and now I am overdue for a layout reconfiguration. Might have said this already, but hoping for more updates(buldings/decor) to squidport and KL rather than new characters

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

They will need to make a major redesign. But the game still has at least a year to go. We will be really busy with Halloween and then the Christmas theme.

They can always release new skins for the main characters.

I wonder if, and when, they are going for the 64bit app, that should help a lot, and could make adding more land easier.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

This game is such a cash cow for EA I'm sure they're telling people to extend it or be fired. Since I don't know jack about the Simpsons, I don't know which characters have yet to appear and whether they're of any significance. There have been a number of rumors, of course, including the Futurama one, which would be pretty great.

It's kind of funny, though, that they launched Squidport and Krustyland and gave us numerous weeks of extended play, but they've both been pretty much abandoned.

I guess the game is kind of getting extended by the sisters getting mostly 24-hour tasks. I assigned everyone else on 24-hour tasks at the same time, went to Krustyland, then came back to Springfield to see if I had missed anyone, only to find one of the sisters still waiting there not doing anything. That would have sucked if everyone had finished their 24-hour tasks and then I had to start the other sister on one.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

I just got it on my phone as a download update when I launched the game. 204 meg download.

Spoiler:

Starts off with Homer and Lisa discussing Halloween and October sports on TV. First quest needs Lisa free for a 4 hour quest.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

Yeah, I should have pointed out you need Lisa free for a four-hour quest to kick things off for Halloween. Her conversation with Homer is very, very meta, as meta as it gets - even for this game!

I haven't been visiting other towns very often lately but I'm hoping this turns out to be quite the community event and I look forward to seeing what people have been doing with their towns lately.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

I confess I've been neglecting my Springfield lately, to the point where I even missed a day and had my Mystery Box counter reset ( ). Something like Whacking Day that rewards continued play could be just the thing to get my back into it.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

Well, that was kind of a large update for a four-hour quest and content that's a week away. I can see how they wanted to get out in front of it, though, rather than have a huge server hit on 10/1.

My neighbor visits have also been slacking so I agree that a big event could be a fun kickstarter. I just hope it's not as annoying as the snakes.

There's another small quest line that unlocks on Thursday as part of this update.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

I haven't gotten to it yet, but I guess they reference a user on the official tapped out forums. According to such and such a user this new update sucks or something. Went over there last night to see what this new update was about and stumbled upon it.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

I loved the mini quest. Also the name "Feed the troll".

In case anyone was wondering, my KOM and Springfield rating are both at 5.
