Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

I wish I didn't buy Arnie and his eye in the sky helicopter. It's great the first few times but that 12 hour helicopter task gets in the way of all the tapping!

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

Is anyone else let down by the prizes? A new Krustyland ride is cool but the rest just really seem meh for the most part in my opinion.

The community total is just over 100,000,000 away from hitting 5 billion so we'll hit that tonight.

Yeah. That is a bit annoying. And I think they are all 24 hour tasks as well. I have him on the first one, trying to eat the pumpkin house.

They should be in your inventory.

The community prizes? Or the individual prizes? I definitely prefer buildings and playable characters over useless decorations, which the individual prizes have had a couple of so far. But some good stuff too.

I had no idea which was better to do so I had him on the strongman quest for a while then due to timing switched to the tuna.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

I finished the Eat the Pumpkin House. Now I have the strongman one and the Ultrahouse 2 one (which is hilarious from the game chat between Marge and Homer related to that one. )

And a new one from the Community Reward,
Spoiler:
Homer has to join the First Church of Lard Lad.

Thats 3 more quests for him. Though the newest one is only 4 hours. So that is good.

If it is I dont see it.

I do have a Lard lad but it is the regular one and it costs a ton 8f donuts.

Same with the cemetery.

Is the Lard Lard lad prize only a skin, have to already have LL to get the prize?

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

I received a popup when I launched the game telling me that the Church of Lard Lad was available. Its an actual building, not a skin. Which is good because I never bought the original Lard Lad.

If you tap on the overlapping arrows, then tap on the open box. You should see all the stuff in your inventory. It was in there for me as well as other things that I won as part of the event.

Yeah, the open brown box is what you're looking for.

I don't know when they did it but I noticed there's a new slice of land expansions on the right side of the town. Pretty cheap too, considering some of the expansions are 700k.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

I just visited Krustyland for the first time in almost a week.

I finished part 8 of one of my current quests and think I need Homer again.

Apparently I have fat fingers because I have no problem tapping a building when I'm trying to get a gremlin, but then I need like three or four tries to hit the back button while gremlins continue to scamper in the background.

They need some event to split Homer into 3 or 4 little Homers for a while.

I have the same problem even though I use a stylus on my tablet. The detection for this game seems somewhat imprecise.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

I've got 5 different quests available for Homer:

Spoiler:
1. Patty and Selma quest
2. Halloween/Gypsy quest
3. Strongman costume quest
4. Church of Lard Lad quest
5. Ultrahouse 2 quest

Just finished #1 (I think that quest line is now complete) and started #2 (I'm guessing there's more to come on that quest line).

In the Christmas season I plan to have Arnie's 12 hour helicopter task, Homer Santa task where is doing the same all over the screen, and the UFO thing task.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

We're already up to 6,000,000,000 goo less than a day after getting the Lard Lad community prize. That's crazy!

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

I have come to the conclusion this morning now that I am at 11K goo that 1-3 donuts for every 2k extra goo here on out is not worth my 2 hours of time visiting 95 friends each day, so I am counting on you guys to carry me through these community prizes. I'll maintain my own springfield and drop gremlins here and there to help others but now I'll just sit back waiting for handouts.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

I'm only about 5000 GOO in.. I have held off on dropping Gremlins on anyone that is above 10,000 since they don't really need it any more.

I'd be happy to have anyone continue to drop gremlins in my town since I'm still working my way through the individual prizes.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

This is probably sounds dumb, but where do I find the option to buy more land? I've bought it before, but was drawing a blank this morning and couldn't find it clicking around on the various icons.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

Click on the hammer and saw icon, and on the same position should be a green square with arrows come out on each side. You should see the option to buy land.
