Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out
For all of you who have me as a neighbor, I'm not going to be playing this game for quite a while. I've finally expanded my area large enough that I can start placing things in a town-ish layout, but I just don't have any desire to. If I could see it all at a glance, it might be better, but I can only see things piecemeal and it means nothing to me. I don't even look at other people's towns anymore, I just taptaptaparoo.
Y'all can either keep me to get XP from the tile taps, or dump me. If I ever get back to the game, I'll readd from the beginning of this thread. I suppose it would be best to remove me from the OP's listing.

Oh good, I'll go ahead and lay some snake eggs in his town.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out
Yesterday I ran an experiment and didn't play at all. Normally the first thing I do every morning is set my 24-hour tasks, preferably before 7:30. If I happen to get up at 7, I finish some of the tasks early and feel like I'm sticking it to the man, even though I know it really doesn't make a difference. But I just skipped the whole thing, and only once did I open the game out of habit, then I closed it again.
Today I did play and finished yesterday's daily task and started today's. I don't really want to quit the game cold turkey when we have just a few months left, but I got a glimpse of life after the game, and it'll be ok for me.

lol. I figured they would eventually fix my main complaints. Once I stopped playing though, it was kind of freeing to not have to worry about going into it daily. It ultimately led to me removing all games in that style.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out
I went through the archive stores and bought 20 buildings and character skins, which unlocked 10 new quest lines. The fun is back!
Those lasted about three days, so I’m back to playing every other day. I waited four days once then realized only three daily quests can be active at a time.
I still have one more archive store to hit so I’ll probably do that before the end of the year.

I purchased the remaining characters and buildings and did those missions.
I turned on the holiday lights, but without snow they just looked kinda sad.
A few more weeks to go.

Better to stop playing if it's not fun any more, though.
