Though I don't see why I'm complaining since I'm still working on the sister quest.

I didn't think that was a real thing. I'll have to take a look.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

I will finish Patty and Selma quest today. They, and Homer, are already in their last 24 hr task.

I wasn't expecting any new things until next week.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

I just started the final 24hr Patty and Selma quests, but decided to detour homer on his new 12hr task today. I guess it's the 12hr task, then two 4hr tasks and the new quest is complete, and you get a free item!

I got the new Homer quest!

Except I already started him on a Patty/Selma 24-hour quest. Oh well.

My scrolling has been pretty balky since switching to ios7. Plus some reboots but not that many out-and-out-freezes or crashes.

I'm sitting on eight boardwalk tiles that I built but haven't gotten around to placing.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

Finally got all my people out of Krustyland, I don't want to waste time in there if they aren't going to have anymore buildings or rides; I have 80k tickets saved up so I have a good start on whatever is next *if* anything is next.

Did anybody notice the extra task that Millhouse and Nelson got after you built the sun sphere? Bart and Martin may have it as well, i love them walking around in their wigs.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

I also took everyone out of Krustyland and check back a couple of times per day to collect tickets from tourists and rides.

I save and spend money in this game like I do in real life:

Wah! I have no money!

Oh! I have a little bit of money! I'm going to spend it all!

Wah! Now I have no money again!

Okay! This time I'm gonna save and save and save!

Yay! I saved a lot of money!

Wow! I'm saving even more money!

Yikes! I'm a millionaire! THREE! Million! Dollars!

Whoops! I spent THREE! Million! Dollars! buying all of the land sqaures!

Wah! I have no money!

Aaaaand scene.

I finished the Homer quest and am now just waiting till 10/1. I've even visited all my neighbors for the first time in a while.

Yeah, I don't use 16-hour quests that often, but sometimes they're handy. I like people who walk around in distinctive tasks rather than people like Miss Springfield "working it" who are hard to tell if they're tasking or if they're just wandering around waiting to do something.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

I also just finished the small Homer quest as well as the super long Patty/Selma quests! Can't wait for the Halloween update to kick in! It was probably my favorite event last year and I hope it gives me a reason to go visit other towns finally. There has not been much of a reason to have friends in this game all year

Yup to much work for too little payout, $16.00 and 25 XP does not go very far.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

Finally building the Toothchipper. Though it took me down to about 200 tickets left.

Got the Sushi place and have been finishing up the No smoking quest line. Ready for the Halloween event. Hopefully there is some cool things that aren't just premium donut buy items.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

Earlier today, in KL. I was in the balloon pop thing and one of the balloons gave me 5 donuts. Woot.. Now I have 30 saved up. First time I've seen that happen.

I stopped building Boardwalk pieces a few weeks ago, once the new update came and there were more buildings to buy, etc. At one point I was down to less than 1k cash.. I'm around $240k now and continuing to earn so that I have some cash for the new event and buildings, etc. In KL, I think I'm back up to around 2k tickets after starting the Toothchipper biulding. 4 days to go on that before its done.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

Cash:

After a ridiculous spending spree on Saturday buying up the last pieces of land (really, I have no idea what I was thinking!), I am working my way back up from $0 cash. The white house farm helps at around $75,000 each tap or $150,000 if I can squeeze in two taps per day (usually around 7:00am and 7:00pm). That's put me at ~$385,000 as of this morning so I'll be close to $500,000 by the end of the day. I've got ~45,000 tickets to trade in, too, if I find myself in a pinch.

Donuts:

I also won five donuts in the Sideshow You game and am sitting on 140 that I've built up slowly from around 50 by not buying a single item since the end-of-season clearance. Was really hoping for a sale on donuts from Gil before the Halloween update, though.

eBay:

I didn't jump at the iTunes gift card deal or whatever it was on eBay you guys talked about a few weeks ago and now I wish I had. How do I tell what's a reputable deal on eBay for these or not? Anyone looking for these regularly? I plan to see if I can install the game on my wife's iTouch and buy from there with a discounted card. Of course, a Gil sale would really, really help that, too!

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

I found the tips from Tapped Out Topix to be extremely helpful. Can't wait to start tapping in your towns with more regularity soon:

FYI, I think you get the 5 donuts when you play the balloon game 100 times. I just got it the other day as well.
