I just set everyone on 24-hour tasks

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out
You can put Cletus's farm in storage then take it back out, which will reset all tasks if you want to get the Perfection task done. This works for any building associated with a character as well, so you can reset them if they're on a task and you need them now.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out
Awesome update! I think I have to pick up the iTunes discount card and wait for a donut sale, finally, now that Disco Stu is here. Between him and Jasper, I'm ready to spend a tiny, tiny bit of money. That said, I have really worked my way up by around 40-50 donuts in the last couple months through leveling up, debris clean-up, and so on. I could afford one of them on their own by the end of the year without spending any real money. Hmm, now that is a test of patience!

You might want to save your donuts for Halloween. I was just looking at the Patty and Selma quests and it looks pretty long. I wouldn't be surprised if we get a small update in two weeks that ties into the season premiere and then the Halloween update the following week.

The great thing about starting a new level with a 36-hour quest is that it gives me time to set everything up for the next stage.
The bad thing is that it's really boring.

I hope Patty/Selma can talk or at least grunt. Almost none of the female characters talk.

I'm still collecting tickets from my attractions and customers on that assumption, but have moved all characters back to Springfield. I've also gone back to visiting neighbors' Springfields instead of KLs. It's easier because there a lot more places to tap, but I'd forgotten how annoying house farms are.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out
I've deemphasized tickets, but I'm still collecting them from the various sources. It seems like the balloon game has produced pretty paltry numbers of late--like yesterday, I got 5, 10, 5.
But then I noticed it told me I had won 15 tickets and 5 donuts!
And then this morning I got 50-50-50.
Even if Gil doesn't come around soon, I'm up to 36 donuts through random leveling up and such. I might be up for getting one of the mid-range multipliers or something that comes up in the new level.

My game is crashing a lot in my Nexus 7
KOM is at 4, everything is at 5 except for Grub, what's the best way to raise up that number? Just Krusty burgers?

Damn, I wish they had the amounts for points to star conversion for Krusty Land. But I should be able to buy some big ticket (heh) buildings and get it done.
