Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out
So I was looking at all of those gift cards deals on eBay and cannot understand why so many people have bids that are $1-15 dollars over the face value of the gift card. Am I missing something?!

What's the last part of the Up in Smoke quests?
I am almost done with part 7 and if there is more, I want to save characters to be free for tomorrow's update event.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out
Pretty sure you've got a fair amount left to do. Probably best to reserve your characters for tomorrow. There are walkthroughs that will tell you who's up next for Up in Smoke, but not for tomorrow. See what happens tomorrow, then see if you can resume Up in Smoke then.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out
Ditto.. All my characters are free.
I have 2 random quests, Marge for a 60 minute task. And Luigi for a 12 hour task. Then the next part of Up in Smoke for Homer for a 4 hour task.
I don't want to do Marge or Homer's tasks yet because, knowing my luck, as soon as I do, the new stuff will happen. I'm probably safe doing the random task for Luigi now, but going to hold off on that as well.

So I'm about 10,000 experience away from bonus donuts should I wait to download the update (if it's through the App Store) until I get that done?

A few weather stations should take care of that XP for you pretty quickly, if you've got the cash.

Yeah did the weather station for the donuts. Was trying to avoid it since I still have the knowledgetorium, DMV, and mental institution to buy but oh well. They probably won't get built until everything involving cash and Halloween is done anyways. Can't wait!

Waiting for the update!
Actually, all my characters freed up at midnight and I didn't get to assigning them on overnight tasks so I'm way past ready.
Yeah, I just finished that quest, and the fact that I couldn't really remember when that Wiggum thing happened made me figure you were not that close to the end, and the walkthrough confirmed it. I prefer to avoid walkthroughs, but heck if they don't come in really handy if I'm willing to forgo the surprise.

Hmmm
Cloudy color scene with colorful leaves falling.
eerie music.
All leafy trees are bare.
You don't need anybody open, and first quest is to build a building which takes 24 hours.
No other decorations or premium items are available yet.
On to tomorrow then....

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out
I think this is going to be a social update. The text detailing the update in the iPhone App store mentioned something about tapping on ghosts, if I recall. Maybe it will be something like the Whacking day event and we'll have to visit towns to tap on ghosts. I assume that more will be revealed once the new building is built.

Shouldn't have built those weather stations lol. 1st thing takes 24 hours, little money, and no new level. I like the ambiance they gave it with the dark sky an trees. Is that the same as it was last year?

If it is social is 15 or so friends enough to keep up based on whacking day or should I find as many as possible?

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out
If it is social and like whacking day, I'd probably say get as many friends possible to have the best chance at getting everything... It does take time to visit every other person's game, but it is manageable.

Nesbit, go to the OP and look us up to add more friends. Some of us have our Origin ID in our DVDTalk signature or our Origin ID is similar / the same as our DVDTalk username, too, if you want to figure out who are the more active players these days.
