Every week you pick one team to win. If that team wins you survive for another week. If not you are out. The thing is once you pick a team you can never pick them again for the rest of the season. Easy to pick but there is some strayegy to it since you may want to save better teams until later in the season - if you can make it every week that is.

Next Tuesday is a big Warhawk day for PSN+

Not that it matters much to everyone here.

Can't see from work...yes, still at work.

Is this the part where Cruz finds out that he could have gotten PSN+ for $16 off?

Because that would be epic!

Another of those 1 hour of full play trials (weird for a multi player only game), plus free DLC combo pack, and free dynamic theme.

Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night

It wouldn't have been so bad if you'd gotten them a month ago...but hilarious that you waited until the week before the "sale" to buy them!

Karma. Motherfucker.

Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night

I bought the theme a while back and have been rocking it ever since. It's pretty cool. Certainly the best dynamic theme I've seen.

Warhawks flying in and out of the background and time of day changing in real time.

Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night

Alright Santorum Slurpers, we're on page 2.

Also, it's Monday...and time for requests.

I'm thinking:

- K&N lobby again, probably the same Eucadia map as last week...or maybe Garden Showdown
- Maybe a Rumble Dome DM somewhere in the night, assuming Slider still wants to see it
- Grinder with vehicular manslaughter
- Zombie (wish I'd called it "Infected") on Urban Strike with no Warhawks...or maybe on Hot Zone (the Omega Factory map that Flip used to load), but I think it's DM only

Any chance of Desert Warfare instead of Supply Chain for Badlands CTF?

Sure. We've been getting the numbers for it.

I do like Supply Chain better, since it's easier to defend, but the variety will be nice.

Good suggestion.

We'll make room. It's always good to have new players, and most of us are pretty good about giving new guys some time/space to sort out controls and strategy. The disk generally goes for $12-13 at Gamestop.

Lately, we've playing with the DLC which opens up new maps and vehicles...including jetpacks. The 3-pack is a bit cheaper on Amazon ($16) than on PSN for some reason: http://www.amazon.com/Warhawk-Booste...3831053&sr=8-2

Alternatively, you could get PSN+ and get the expansions for "free" tomorrow. Just think of it as a $16 coupon for PSN+. Not a bad deal provided that you had some interest in PSN+. Edit to add info on PSN+ deal. You also get a "trial" of the full game, which in theory means that you could be fully up and running tomorrow for the price of a PSN+ subscription. Then you could just pick up the disk at your leisure if you like the game.

If you want to just get the game and try it out with us tomorrow, please post on the thread tomorrow before I load the maps, and I'll limit the maps to non-DLC.

Well, I dunno. I might do that. Perhaps not all night, but definitely during Rumble Dome.

But no, not NHL11 (Amazon hasn't actually shipped my copy yet - the bastages).

I'll be at the Braves/Pirates game this evening cheering against the home team. I'll try to drop by late, but I'm wicked tired since the baby/toddler/monster is teething something like twelve teeth all at once and sleeping much less than normal.
