Slider remembers the funny stuff!

That encounter with your flaming turtle was pretty funny. I started out with a tank...got out before you sploded it...and went after your tank on foot (but on the opposite side of the barrier). When you gave chase around the barrier, I just jumped over to the other side and was tossing grenades and running pretty effectively until somebody else swooped in to engage.

The end result IIRC was me alive but tankless and flaming turtle + 2 occupants dead.

Flip TOWing me on Tau Crater was pretty good too! Later on, I did an air to air TOW in return. I'm not sure he appreciated it.

on grinder, when everyone was driving around, I parked my jeep in one of the openings in the hanger. Chew drove in the hanger and ran into my roadblock. I ran over to his jeep and hit it with the wrench. He fell right into my trap.

I responded by shooting you in the back several times during the night.

Digi, if I say something like "fuck off" in-game, I mean it in the most endearing way possible. Hell, take it as a compliment.

I'm at a point where I'm trying to do them at about 50:50. Obviously, they work better in TDM than CTF, but I'm finding a few small CTFs where they work (at least until you get Digi in a tank!

I especially like the games with jetpacks but no warhawks...but I dorked that up this week and picked the wrong map on Tau Crater. Tug of War was the one I wanted. Dumbass.

Trying to fix my PS3.... I think I will get a new one. But to fix it where I am they want to charge me $200. Way too expensive. Might as well get a new one. Problem is the laser lens died on me.

Just get a new one. The slims are super sexy.

After tax/shipping, that's about what Sony charges. If it's a 60GB or a BC 80GB, I think they'll still swap you a slim for it for the same price. If so, that's the way I'd go.

Yikes. I've been told that there is a local shop that repairs PS3 lasers/360 RROD for $35-60 bucks. For $200 might as well get a slim.

Funny you say this. When I'm checking the teams, and I see you on my team, I always think:

"Damn, he's going to drive the other team nuts, and I'm STILL going to lose."

Also added to the OP...review from random website, but I think the guy does a really good job of capturing the charm of Warhawk.

Also...damn...forgot how good some of the in-game music is since I turned it off to hear mines three years ago.

I think it's just a ploy to convince Slider he needs a headset so we can hear some Elton John on Tuesdays too.

Actually, I just stumbled across it and thought it was interesting. I had no idea that they did that.

But I do remember Slider thinking it was a neat feature in Burnout Paradise.

So how do we set up the custom soundtrack. I'll have to look it up.

Beats me. I play with the music off...just thought it was interesting since not a lot of PS3 games do it. One more argument for Warhawk's sheer awesomeness.
