Digi, lock the wife in the closet if you have to, throw the True Blood blu rays in the trash, do whatever you need to in order to make it on for CoD:MW2 this week.
We miss you.

Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night
Archipelago was technically the first map, but it was designed to show up again as the 11th map around 10:00. As I mentioned earlier, I had a 6:30 meet the teacher thing, so I started the rotation at 6:20 with the "9th" and "10th" maps. It would have been seamless to you guys if you'd stuck around. It came up, but that's when we quit rather than playing 3 on 3 in flag.
Digi's correct that Northern Bridge is a broken map. I admit to having a soft spot for it since it was one of my early favorites. I'll use it sparingly in the future. I've also discovered that King of the Hill is broken with tanks but no Warhawks since the rocket launcher is so out of the way when you spawn.
I did like the more open TDMs though. Driving Lee around on Island Outpost was a blast, and there are a couple of good maps on Eucadia. I don't have nearly the disdain for TDM that digi does, and I think it plays well into the style of guys like nic and Slider who mostly just want to kill people in creative/sneaky ways.
Finally, you guys are a bunch of base raping base rapers and you totally stole my tank.

Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night

Any thoughts on this?
I also thought about a Zombie mode while we were playing that might be a bit more active than Hunted.
- Small but cluttered map with no vehicles (Badlands South City comes to mind and it even looks "post-apacalyptic")
- Everybody on blue except for one person (red looks more zombie-like)
- That person hunts everybody else...normal weapon limits (no mines but otherwise straight up)
- Every time The Zombie kills somebody they switch to red
- Last man standing wins

that three of us had to work our asses off to "challenge" Digi pretty much by himself. Hell, he almost won! I don't even know how to account for that other than to short-man him every game just to keep him "challenged".

I still enjoy King of the Hill.
The most important thing against tanks on that map is the machine gun turret. Besides, both teams have a tank right at their base, and there are two more tanks right in the middle of both bases. I think it's pretty balanced if the players are balanced.

Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night
Well that's handy.
I want to try Zombie Mode next week, and I'll volunteer to be the original infected.
Badlands - South City - Team Death Match
I'll go red, everybody else go blue
You can either hide (lots of ladders, alleys, rooftops on that map) or gang up on me...or teamkill
Anybody who dies changes to red
Last blue guy wins and becomes the original infected
I think the rules are simple enough that this one could be a good time, and it should be more active than The Hunted. I'm actually pretty excited for how this one might turn out.
We'll also do a Hunted map if folks still want to. Was Eucadia too big?

Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night
Seriously, I have a map in Omega Factory that would make a really cool Zombie map. It's small with no vehicles and has tons of great places to hide...tall structures with lots of ladders and lots of nooks and crannies. It's also the only night map.

Now you're just trying to upset Flip!I was thinking about a K&N lobby and was considering Eucadia - High City. Rumble Dome could work, but it's not a great K&N. It's a bit too open. But it'll do if nobody else has a problem with it.
Cruz getting the DLC will help since I won't be limited to the first 3 maps...assuming he's good for his word, of course.
