In terms of douchebag style points you might stand a fighting chance. In terms of skill you'd need digi just to make this a conversation.

I don't mean to oversell tormentor's ability, but I think he's put more time into Warhawk than the rest of us combined.

Being a douchebag has nothing to do with skill.

I mean... just look at Cruz! Total douchebag and no skill to speak of.

All good for tonight. If anything, a round with you might give them a taste of what to expect out there...poor naive kids.

Still getting the server down error message. I'm wondering if those with physical copies can get in, but digital can't?

Had fun. Servers were down for me for a while, but I was glad I could join in.

So... when did mines become allowable?

Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night

Played a few games, but got out because I tought somehow I was disrupting the balance you guys already have...

What's the deal tomorrow? Is it a clan vs clan match?
Which clan is it? So I can check them out.

www.myhawk.org

Pretty useful

The "sigh" wasn't for your question. I just knew what was in store.

I thought you were much less aggressive last night than the first two times we played with you, but you still had something like 25 kills your last map, and the next closest was 8.

We barely know what we're doing tonight. We certainly don't have anything lined up with another clan. I hoped we could all be on the same team against randoms, and assumed if I loaded a clan match that it would work out that way.

Glad you jumped in!

The mines were a one-time deal in preparation for taking on some randoms tonight. I just wanted to get folks used to listening for them.

Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night

Awesome night last night, despite some folks not being able to get in the game for a bit and relatively low turnout overall.

Unfortunately, a few folks weren't sure what to do on Grinder or Infected, but it mostly worked out.

Highlights for me:

- Cruz rolls a tank in our base and kills everybody while I'm hunkering behind a little wall. I see him get out to grab our flag, and I jump in his tank milliseconds before he gets back to it. His panicked reaction was priceless!

- I'm on top of the mine spawn bunker on Grinder, and Slider sends me a note on PSN: "I can see you". Seconds later, the mines spawn, I grab them, he takes one shot and misses, and I see this pop up: CruzChaos snipes JohnSlider

- On Grinder, I'm following nic while he's pooping out mines, clearing them as I go. Cruz pops out and starts shooting at me, and I see he's headed toward one of nic's mines. Instead of shooting back at him, I just toss a grenade at the mine and basically kill Cruz with Nic's mine!

- Suicide-balling tormentor and flag-carrier in their APC. It was at my base, so I was back in business 5 seconds later.

- Shao just singlehandedly decimating four dudes. He's getting pretty good. It took at least three of us to take him down in the Infected game. Hopefully he'll play tonight.

- I forgot how much fun it was to mine binocular spawn points and turrets.

Hopefully we'll see most of you tonight. I don't know if it was a one-night thing, but I can apparently host 24 now.

One things for sure, I wouldn't of played much more than 3-4 weeks of this game if last night was "the norm".

Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night

had a lot of fun last night. mines make me happy. I felt a little bad though when I killed sean like 6 times in a row with mines.

Lesson learned last night. put the mine a little further from the other teams flag to prevent flag capture. I had it too close and they were still able to capture the flag.

On the infected, I found my normal dumpster, Sean finds me again, throws a grenade, banks it off the wall and into the dumpster.

I'm surprised I wasn't challenged more in my missile turret on Over the Bridges. I don't know how many times I took Cruz out.

Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night

I mines and TOWs. My giggle factor was way up last night last night from the combination of douchiness, fail and missed balls. I've got to try more of the ball suicides - seems to work for nic.

Funny moments other than what chess mentioned.

Saw Slider running away with flag on Archipelago mentioned that out loud and went to give chase with a Warhawk and sure enough I am blown out of the sky by Friz. "How'd that work out for you?" - Epic Fail.

On Grinder - Put a Biofield generator on a jeep and ran into PFChudson and chess? dukin it out one of them killed me butas i died my biofield did its job and they both died.

Thank you, May I have another. I was about to Tow you multiple times but then I'd see someone else would kill you and I would not even bother to look for you again.

I was pretty much left alone on Over the Bridges.

Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night

By the end of Island Outpost it was Chew, Nic, Friz, Tormentor, and Sean vs. Me, Cruz, Shao, and Hudson. I think that game ended with 4-1 or 4-2, and the flags we did get were pretty much given to us. I kept hearing "This is what we're going to be going up against tomorrow," whenever somebody would say something about how hardcore the other team was playing. Then, on Badlands the score was 1-0 and someone got a little hissy-fittish. Can't have it both ways, people.

I did have some fun though, like Chew said, if it were like this all the time I would have quit. It's fun, but it also gets boring.
