Awesome.

I haven't played too much in the last weeks, maybe this will help.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

This game has been very disappointing the last few months so hopefully this level will fix that.

Hmmmmmmm when I go to other Springfields it says I am maxed out on Friend points.

Maybe their Springfield has not been updated yet?

If you maxed to FP Level 6 (got Stampy), within the neighbor screen only the meter bar is working right now, not the FP count. You can still accumulate them blind* for now.

So expect a fix to pushed sometime soon.

*In the meantime, the FP count appears in your Springfield when you clean graffiti and the drop down meter pops up.

Yeah, I only have a handful of premium buildings but should check to see if there are tasks I can assign there that would pay better. If they're short tasks, they're not going to be that useful, though.

It's strange, but now that I've saved up 190 donuts and could buy and one awesome or 2-3 mini items, I'm paralyzed by choice. Can't figure out what to spend them all on!
After I purchased the last deal (movie studio plus characters), I've been accumulating and wondering how to spend them. I'm around 215 now.

Ah, something new to spend on! I'll probably get the building with character. Of course I set everyone on 24-hour tasks last night.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

Sanjay is the free character and Manjula costs donuts? That's kind of lame. How many episodes has Sanjay even had a speaking part in?

C'mon, joe, the kids love the Sanjay!

Anybody bought Manjula yet? Does she have a voice? If so, is it Jan Hooks?

She's not voiced. The only characters that are voiced are the main cast.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

I had to do a bunch of work in Krustyland to get my Kitsch rating back up to 5 stars. They cut the Kitsch rating for trees from 25 to 10.

Ha! That's the first thing that I check after an update: my rating in SF and KL.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

My land is almost full as well, I'm going to have to start removing houses or get rid of my riverwalk.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

My main issue is that I want a 5 star rating in Springfield. So I have to be careful what I remove. But yeah, houses should be the easiest way.

Friend points meter is back, so I'm back to vandalizing.

Thanks for the reminder. I added the Duff statues and a bunch of the leftover Valentine's items to get my kitsch rating back up, and my tree-hugging had dropped to four stars so fixed that as well.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

Topped out the Friends Points. I'm now getting $101 per building during visits. I got one donut while finishing out my neighbors.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

What the hell is up with this game? I am getting constant notifications about people visiting my town despite having that feature turned off. About ready to delete the game because of it.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

Yeah, I've been getting unasked for push notifications like that the last few days, too. My phone has been slow as all get out lately and I've been trying to get rid of constant data sucking apps or features like push notifications so I'd like to know why I have them since I turned them off before. Maybe it came with the update?

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

I am also getting notified of people who are visiting my town that are not on my friends list. People i don't know. A day more of this and game is deleted from my phone.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

If you have Android, try Settings/Apps/Tapped Out. Uncheck the notifications box underneath the force stop button.

I suspect that the unknown visitors are a glitch similar to the one that logs people into the wrong town. It may be that visitors can be misdirected in the same way. It may be that these are your normal neighbors, but the system is getting the names wrong.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

With the new Family Guy game being released this week, I hope that EA will step up and address some of these problems and give us better updates. I could see lots of people dumping this game if they stay on the same course.

Sadly the next update should be the one that tries men's souls (and I suspect will drive more players away)... Whacking Day.
