Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out
Odd issue this morning. I started my game and I got an in-game update. Once it was done, I had to enter my age and logon details again. Not sure what that was about.

Usually I haven't been.
Oh well.. at least my stuff is still there.
I'm up to the 2nd part of the level 38 quests.
Two Extra Eyes On Springfield Pt. 1
I think I have about 2 more days of stuff to get through, in looking at the times for the remaining tasks at the simpsons tapped out wiki page.

I noticed that the valentine's pond that you get on the wheel is a multiplier. I've already got 2 of them. Everything else I've received just raises your vanity rating.

Five spins and four unique items so that's pretty good, I guess. All are vanity items, though.
It's annoying that a bunch of neighbors are now untappable and useless.

Anybody know why you can't tap certain neighbors? Is it because all their characters are already tapped or is it because they haven't progressed far enough on the Valentine storyline yet?

It's because their characters are all tapped. You need to have somewhat active players on your friends list. Especially if they have lots of friends. Anyone not playing will be useless so you might as well drop them.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out
Yeah, I first thought it was like previous events and people hadn't updated the game yet. But my kid hasn't played in forever and was tappable. So if people aren't keeping up with the game, they'll be tapped out in no time. It's worse than the buildings because (1) buildings are cheap and easy to add and (2) some of the buildings would refresh in a few minutes, while characters seem to stay tapped. I probably won't go on a deleting rampage since they might be useful after the event, but it makes the neighbor process more annoying.

Went visiting today and had 11towns with no tapables.
Good news is that all my tiles seem to still be there.

Sort of. She has a 90 day task where she gives birth. You can do this three times. Her children don't have any tasks but they pay off every four hours or something to that effect. You can speed up the birthing process with 30 donuts but I don't really see the point.

They added the ability to manage neighbors from within the game on Android. I was visiting neighbors and tapped the add button. The new window included a list of all my neighbors and the ability to drop or hide them.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out
I have a task that requires me to send 15 people to court. Since they're inside a building and not on the streets, wouldn't that limit my neighbours in how many taps they can get? I don't want to be a bad neighbour but I just harvested my roses so Im just starting with the VD tapping, so not sure how it works. Thanks!

Send them where you like. I was curious, so I visited a town where I knew that Homer Simpson was inside a building. I saw him standing on the street playing with his myPad. I've gotten cards on characters that were inside buildings.

Even non-playable characters like Candy Klein and the Abominable Snowman are tappable for cards.

Somehow they were able to screw the mechanics of this event. This is a short event. They are only having the wheel. Why made all this changes?
Anyway, I haven't had time to visit all my friends yet. But watching the Olympics should help.
