Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

I got Plow King on the wheel. Not that I have Barney or anything, but...

Still no money on my wheel.

Woot.. got Plow King on a spin today. Hopefully I'll get the Claus Co building before the end of the event. I've gotten a lot of 1000 spots.. But I did also get the Snowman Homer, Lisa and Maggie...

What is that mountain looking thing? I have yet to land on that and I don't even have claus co on my wheel yet. I only have two open slots left, the mountain thing and the snowmen, the rest are cash/giftcards.

That is Claus Co. They just show the top portion on the wheel and not the whole tower.

Damn, that thing has been on my wheel for a while, now I see why everyone is saying this wheel is fixed. I got the snow god early on, I think I have everything but the tower.

Ah, thanks! That disappeared from my wheel and I was wondering why, but it's because I did win Claus Co. I also got Helter Shelter and am now just trying for the yeti. I save up my tokens for five to seven spins at a time, and sometimes get a real prize out of it.

I still have Homer and Lisa hiding in the treehouse. If I'd planned it better, I'd have put them on earning tasks while everyone searches for them, but this is still better than finishing the quest. As long as I can keep from clicking on them.

Another try and.,,

Yep. It showed like it was going to cross to cross to the snowman but it couldn't. Of course if it was money on top, it would cross over.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

Ok, I'm at a pathetic number of gift cards 68K+ and it seems I am no longer getting any tokens for every 1K gift cards, I'm not sure if it stopped at 60K or what. When I click on the token it just says 1000/1000 Done! So looks like I can only get the 1 egg nog token per day or buy them. Oh well, back to being productive. Adboy are you still getting tokens? I see you are at 80K

It's happened to other people as well. It's a glitch and I haven't heard of any fix for it. You probably need to complain to EA about it.

Yes, I've gotten about three since I cleared the wheel around 77k. But I'm not actively visiting neighbors and collecting right now, so I don't *think* I'm having a problem.

I've seen a few others having the problem, but no fix. Best to get a ticket in with EA.

Just did 11 tokens on the wheel, first 10 were $1000, the last one got me a whopping 50 GC.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

I'm saving, maybe 4 tokens, for tomorrow, to see if somehow they raised the chances for Christmas day. I'm a believer, what can I say!

Oh and I'm probably going to get $20 pack of donuts. I need to buy them before I try my luck with the wheel though.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

I was sending Santa Ned on eight-hour tasks to match the Homer hunters.

I'm probably in for the 300-donut pack. The 900 is a better value and I could spend them easily, but I have a mental block against laying down that much cash.

Is that baD?

So I've had everyone looking for the Simpsons for a couple days now while Homer and Lisa are skiing.

How long until I should let them finish and send Homer to buy donuts?

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

I just got the snow monster on the wheel!

Only GCs and cash left on the wheel so I guess my holiday event is pretty much over.

It's only bad in the sense that Santa Ned can do one- and four-hour tasks and generate a lot more GCs, assuming you can play that often. I was playing the game steadily on vacation so I could refresh him a lot more frequently than every eight hours.

With my wheel completed, I went ahead and released Homer and Lisa from hiding and resumed the quests. I'd say you can leave them skiing as long as you're still interested in generating GCs because that's the most efficient way to do that.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

Whenever I land on the $1000 on the wheel I can't help but feel how I wasted my time getting all those tokens for a lousy $1000 when I could've earned ten times that had I sent everyone on a money generating task. I have Claus co to get and some other snowman and that's it. I'm wondering if its even worth all this work at this point.

I heard Costco was selling ITunes cards for 25% off. With the 30% donut sale that would be a good deal. Does anyone know any other places selling discounted iTunes cards?

I don't think it was Costco I saw it at, now I can't remember.
