I've tried restarts numerous times and I can't get Lisa's destroy gift cards task to come up.

That happened to me as well. I sent her on a couple one hour tasks and eventually it popped up.

Also, here's a tip to get more gift cards: when you have to send multiple people to do a task, send everyone or at least many more than the minimum number. Then, when the task is done, tap one less than the minimum and reset them on the task. Pick people like Sideshow Mel and Dr. Hibbert instead of Lisa or Homer or other characters more likely to start up the next task. So for a 12-person task, that's however many people you sent on it, plus 11 more!
I'm not following that.

I was staring the tasks with 11 then running every one after that.

Although something happened with the last task that caused it to disappear before I had everyone run it.

My last 10 or so have been $1000, all I have left is Claus Co, they could at least given me some GCs towards another token.

I got Claus Co, so I guess I shouldn't complain.

That's all I seem to get. I was going to use the one quest to continue to get a ton of gift cards every 8 hours.. Now I have to get them from gift boxes/bags and visiting towns mainly. I still need Claus Co, and Plow King... At least I got the Helter Shelter.

Stupid 1000 spots.. too many of them on the wheel.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

Just cleaned up presents in my town, visited some more towns, and did another set of 8 hour tasks for the town, got 50 GC, and $4000' all 4 of the money "wins" were the spot right next to Claus Co. I understand that it uses weighted odds and everything, but give me one of the other spots, it's just being mean.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

This wheel is bullshit, bullshit, bullshit.

I was going to hit on Claus Co but it just kept going then it hit the peg and just barely clicked over to the $1000!

That is 4 in a row now for me.

Okay, let's say the task is to send 12 Springfield residents to overeat.

1. Don't just send 12. Instead, send 40 (or however many you can).
2. When the task is complete, tap 11 of them (not Homer or others who are likely to start the next task).
3. Send those 11 on the same task so they do it twice.
4. Tap a 12th person to end the task.
5. Reap the benefit of not only the 12-40+ people you sent on the task but another 11 on top of that.

fyi, there's a better and easier way to do this. when homer/lisa are hiding from springfield for 24 hours, just don't send them on the task. but, send everyone else in springfield on the 8 hour task to find them. just keep doing that over and over.

That was what I was going to do.... But I had sent Homer and Lisa on their task and accidentally ended it after the 2nd round for all the other Springfielders... It was my own stupid mistake.. but I wanted to keep it going for a while to build up more coins to be able to spin the wheel more and hopefully get the items I am missing. Oh well..

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

Very cool. I haven't reached the task where they're hiding yet. I've only just sent everyone to drink too much this afternoon.

...That is not a sentence I ever saw myself writing.

I am only missing the Snow Goddess from the wheel, but before that I just landed on the 1000 Cash a lot.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

I had a tile for a few hours, and someone even tapped on it. HAD.

So the wheel... Got 2 coins, the daily one, and another from 1000 GCs. Tried both, first one $1000, and immediately tried the second one, and got the abominable snow man. It was a fluke. I thought I didn't spin the wheel fast enough, but somehow it counted.

Later in the day got another coin, tried my luck again and it looked like it was going to land in the mountain, or something like that, but of course it landed in $1000.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

Over the last week I had two tiles up two seperate times. but with all the gc's and boxs sitting around and all the tasks that ended while in squidport, they both got tapped by me and are gone.

I think I'm done with tiles for awhile.

Now the hide from Springfield task, Homer and Lisa will have a hide task but I will be able to send all of Springeild out to look for them BEFORE HOMER and LISA do their part?

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

yeah, you can send Homer and Lisa on Pretend to Ski tasks while nearly every other Springfield resident goes to look for them.

9 ($1000) in a row for me and I have 3 money slots.

It really pisses me off when I see it maintain speed or slow down drastically depending on where the money is.

Same here. 3 money slots. From the remaining prizes I really just want Plow King. Helter Shelter and what's that thing that looks like a mountain?, those are the 3 "big" remaining, plus a few snowmen.
