Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

That's an interesting incentive to buy a few things to bump up your progress toward other things automatically.

I sent Comic Book Guy to write fan fiction immediately last night and this morning it didn't take?! Have to do it again. Anybody else have this?

No but the character you need for the daily puzzle today I don't have yet. I'm really hoping I can grind to unlock him before this event is over.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

I had a parchment puzzle that didn't take when I finished it. But I was sure it couldn't be anyone else, and fortunately it was only 45 seconds, so I did it again and then it worked.

I was really scratching my head over today's puzzle after considering two possibilities. I finally had to look it up.

I was just too lazy to remove the question mark.

You don't even need to do any of those things to your phone anymore to screw with TSTO, just know how to sideload an app, and bam.

Cool. And like clockwork, my conform-o-meter dropped to 4.5.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

I only have 19K emblems.. hopefully I'm on track to get all the items.

Got the update today and my FR was at 22 out of 4000 needed for the next item.. Going to be a few days to a week to get that I think.

Ditto. I only have just over 14,000 emblems and I don't think I'm going to get all the prizes. I usually want 'em all but I don't know how much I want to go around clamoring about how I'm trying to earn "Satan's Anvil."

Dammit, another emblem puzzle that involves a character I haven't unlocked yet. I hope this isn't the case from here on out.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

Looking like another long day for Number 1 tasks, starting with a six-hour then a four-hour. Fortunately the six-hour worked well with my sleeping plan.

Not sure we're talking about the same thing? I think Me007 was talking about the parchment puzzle.

The Friend Points are going to be hard to achieve during this event because of the limitations we've discussed earlier. I only have 467 after one day. The good news is that I tend to reach a Friend Point level fairly quickly then just sit there maxed out. So maybe the progress will be slower but the achievement the same.

I'm taking best-guess here and won't know for eight hours. Glad these don't expire.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

Don't forget I put a link to a blog/Wiki in the OP that gives it away each day if you wanna spoil / not figure it out on your own / take the chance.

Yep, thanks! I usually try to figure it out on my own, but used it when I struck out on a couple possibilities and today when I couldn't come up with the answer.

18 hours of Number 1 tasks yesterday, but I survived. Unfortunately I didn't start today's at midnight so I'm hoping for a lighter load.

Wow, what a space hog.

Have one more parchment prize to go.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

Just got the last Emblem Prize as well and it is HUGE. I've really enjoyed this event a lot, but I wish they would have given us more land in the Level 42 update. I manage to fit everything in, but it's pretty tight at this point and there's a couple things I'd like to change, but don't have the room. The worst part is that the new decorations and buildings during the Stonecutters (Stonecutters Lodge, All Seeing Eye, Stonecutters Day Care, Abandoned Store, and Satan's Anvil) and Level 42 (Itchy & Scratchy Studio) updates take up a ton of land in already-crowded towns. Oh well...

I passed 28K last night. I still should be able to get everything, right?

Reminder for the ones that just got the table.

Looking for it in a few days.

You need the Stonecutter Table. Have Homer sing the Stonecutter song. Tap Homer 10 times.

You should be. I recall seeing a progression chart a few days ago. For that date, it said as long as you had 23k emblems you were on track. I had 25k, I think, at that time.

I'm just a bit over 28k now.. I got the 3rd prize on the bottom row.

I'm also at 3500 FP out of 4500 needed for KBBL.

I'm debating on what to do with my doughnuts as I have 238. I don't like not having the stonecutter outfits for premium characters I haven't bought. But I worry that once I spend them, something better will come out.

As much as the Family Guy game kind of sucks, you do get the equivalent of doughnuts rewarded for some tasks or randomly given out. Tapped Out needs to do that as well to let people get a chance at the premium items.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

Yeah, I think you should be fine as long as you don't slow the pace.

The good thing about the post-emblem donut payout is that the counter actually starts before you earn the final prize.

Thanks for the Easter egg reminder!

At some point, I'm going to have to sit down and figure out how to rearrange my Stonecutter space. Everything's together except the last piece.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

I'm limited to tapping maybe once a day if I'm lucky all this week due to work but I wanted to let you all know how much I appreciate you continue to tap my town. I'm hoping to get all the way through Lenny and Carl's Stonecutters robes and call it good. The last few are simply out of my reach, if I can even get to my aforementioned goal.

You have a chance to get the squeaky voiced teen in Burn's weekly mystery box. I bought him and found out later that was the case.
