honestly, nothing better than running people down,

I chase the tank around the crater and I'm standing next to the edge with the binoculars, which never work for me, and aiming at the tank, and then i hear the knife being drawn, I think that might have been chew...down I go.
Chew + knife = raw evil

- I love that after i chase a tank either on foot or in a jeep and get blown all to shit, someone (friz maybe?) always points out "what were you gonna do if you caught that tank?"
That kind of thing is ALWAYS funny to watch from the air.

- same map, not sure who it was, Friz maybe, but they were on the bridge with the RL aiming at the skies and i saw them, I jumped in a jeep and took off across the bridge, at the last moment, they looked at me and fired...Boom goes R2...i respawned and jumped in another jeep...but this time he wasn;t paying attention...SPLAT...i felt vindicated....
That was me, and my first shot was pure luck. I was hunting warhawks from the ground, and when I turned, you were in my line of fire. I just panicked and shot.

Good times though, I had a lot of fun this week...I am going to be off for 2 weeks, I am going on vacation until the Saturday after Thanksgiving, starting tomorrow and I'm pretty sure I'm not taking my PS3...
That's some bullcrap right there. Both you and nic out for a few weeks?!?!?

Chess, I think you need to host this week. I'm not sure when I'll be able to get on.

Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night

I'm on it.

I can't post from work anymore (I can view, but somehow they blocked posting). It's going to do wonders for my productivity.

It could be a quiet night tomorrow with several folks tentative. Hopefully eroc, steve, digi, Wiz, Slider etc can get on early.

If you can make it tomorrow, please do!

Not sure how long I'll be able to stay on, at least an hour, but after that it is uncertain. Hopefully I can stay until 10:00 like last week though.

Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night

Despite smaller numbers than usual, I had a great time tonight.

I especially enjoyed playing on Digi's team, which I almost never get to do.

Hopefully Slider will get a mic sometime so we can get feedback on whether we're frustrating him. Really don't want to chase potential regulars off.

Thx for coming out everybody.

Yeah, despite the small numbers that was the most fun I have had in a while in our games. I enjoyed the challenge of being outnumbered and they were always hard fought games, regardless of the score. Hopefully everyone else felt that way though.

That Island Outpost CTF battle where every inch they moved the flag took like 3 minutes was awesome. That was quite a battle. Steve in the missile turret was brutal.

Haha, no worries. I'll never get frustrated playing this game with you guys, it's all in good fun and I don't mind getting my ass kicked. The simple truth is that I will never be a team's most valuable player on this because my hand-eye coordination just isn't there. With Uncharted 2, Metal Gear Solid IV, Grand Theft Auto 4, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 my kill to death ratio is about .30-.40 on all of them because I just don't react fast enough. That's why I like sniping, or using those missile machines, and why I hate flying.

There was one point on one of the capture the flag missions where I was right at the enemy base and someone at my house yelled in and asked me something, I captured the flag without paying attention because I was addressing this person. When I turned around to face the screen I had the flag and there was a warhawk in front of me and I just had this 'Oh shit!' moment and started firing the rocket launcher and grenades like crazy. I, of course, committed suicide there and then when the sound of all the explosions die down I hear somebody on my team saying 'It's me, it's me, it's okay!" I had to put the controller down I was laughing so hard.

I'll try and find a good cheap mic soon, but seriously don't worry about frustrating me.

Yeah, we'll have to remember that the next time we have 2:3. Or 3:4, I would think that you, Chew and I would make a good 3 man team.

That was super cool. I was MILLISECONDS from saving our flag at their base having killed Chew Steve and Flip so many times I lost count...and JUST before the flag disappears, Steve takes me out with a well placed grenade.

By the time I got back, it was sudden death mode, and they had just saved their flag. Flip, I think, was in the bunker getting ready to complete the capture, and the timing was so perfect that without even breaking stride, I re-grabbed the flag and tore off in a jeep with a hearty "Later peckerheads!!!"

Such a great round!

Happy to hear it. We try to give new players a bit of space when possible. In the lobby, I was doing my best to just be a slightly dangerous target, but I'm not sure if you picked up on it.

Awesome stuff! I love hearing funny stories about the games, and we seem to have a few every week...part of the benefit of playing amongst friends who aren't taking the game too seriously.

Get that mic! USB if you can, or use a bluetooth if you happen to have one.

That was probably the funniest thing for me all night. I was flying him over, and literally letting you know when I was dropping him off. I felt like a delivery-guy.
