Ravenous might have to add private parties into his revenue plans:

Sony looking into subscription based PSN Services

It probably won't affect most PSN play, including Warhawk, but it could be the beginning of the end of the "free" era.

Sony has been toying with subscription based MMOs for as long as I can remember. Nothing to worry about IMO.

Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night

Have we actually had an Uncharted 2 gathering yet? I know we had an aborted Saturday attempt but hadn't heard anything else. I still haven't tried the multi. Got wrapped up in Borderlands and I haven't really come out yet... though I made significant strides by running the hard drive install on Assassin's Creed 2 and the Force Unleashed while I was entertaining the baby last week.

I'm down for Uncharted...though I haven't picked it up in a bit.

You hosting tomorrow flip? Expecting about the same numbers as last week with no R2, nic or Z.

You should host again tonight. Same as last week... I just have no idea when I'll be back and signed on.

Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night

OK, that was fun...

My favorite moment of the night was saving Flip on the bridge with about a millisecond to spare before he got runned over by a jeep. The timing was amazing.

Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night

heh... I had a lot of fun tonight. I really enjoy the bridge map with the two bases on either side, and the one bridge connecting them. Team death match on that map seems to be the epitome of greatness for this game. I got bored a little during one of the capture the flag games and decided to just sit on our base and snipe Chess from base to base, which really accomplished nothing (sorry team, haha). I actually played through Sons of Anarchy tonight, which shows just how much I was enjoying the game, but make no mistake, when Lost comes back I'm limited on Tuesdays.

Oh, and I finally figured out how to work the binoculars!

Almost forgot about that. When I saw that it was you, me and (was it Chew?) against digi, nic and flip, I thought we were screwed, but we were defending the hell out of that little building! That was an absolute blast IMO and might just make the regular rotation.

Isn't Lost on Wednesdays? That was the only reason this wasn't "Warhawk Wednesday".

Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night

Oh...also enjoyed playing 2 on 4 with digi and wouldn't mind more of that. We won by a few flags, but I can tell you that every one of them was HARD EARNED...which is really all that matters.

I'm amazed that final CTF ended with a 0-0 tie. chess and digi must not of been trying very hard.

And, Lost is moving to Tuesdays when it returns in February. Not that it will stop me from playing on Tuesdays, but it's going to make it pretty hard to make it through Wednesdays at work without getting something spoiled.

On another note: I'm switching my home theater components over to a wireless bridge. I wanted to compare the speeds I get with the PS3 before and after, so I did a speed test this morning.

Without any notification, my cable internet has tripled it's upload speed.

I went into Warhawk and checked my max player potential and it now says "20". If flip can't host and we're expecting big numbers, looks like I should be able to handle the load now.

All-talk was on, right?

Once we decided that we couldn't make even teams, we just started mucking about a bit. I actually knocked digi off a cliff with my Warhawk. He was on foot and couldn't have been more than 100 yards from our base. It was the funniest damn thing!

Warhawk Wednesdays has a nice ring to it, right?

...fully NOT kidding.

Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night

I'm guessing Chew will be down for the switch.

Lost fans need to play my LBP level if you get a chance. Hopefully it's still there...haven't looked in a while. It's called "Little Lost".
