Hello?

We were probably 5-10 minutes into the map before we realized.

I told you guys I was checking out. Just goes to show that nobody listens unless there's a TEAMKILL involved. Or that my bluetooth is a POS. Which is also true.

Not at all. I just have a hard time figuring out who is talking sometimes...particularly between you, digi and R2. Chew is pretty distinct.

Anyway, I thought it was digi who was checking out...never occurred to me that you would since you were hosting.

Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night

Last night was fun and great to finally get a few games in! Im glad I could get in. I would have stayed longer but I went running. I dont know what you mean about not taking it easy on me Friz, I dont think I got a kill all night!

I recall that one level where I had to ditch my tank and fucking Friz buzzed me in his hawk and followed me around as I just kept running around a boulder, he just kept shooting at me and even dropping his balls and I was "seriously dude? Im one guy with a hand gun" Than a teammate shoots him out of the sky with the tank. THat was SOOOOO sweet I couldnt stop .... and he didnt kill me.

I also got pissed when I had the flag in the other level and Digi started honking at me (which I didnt know we could do) and he drove me for the win. Awesome!! Than I went for the flag again and he was there.... on the opposite team killing me!! I yelled, "what the fuck I thought you were on my team! Damn traitor!!" fun times.

I distinctly recall you parking a tank in our base on the Northern Bridge TDM. You must have gotten 15 spawn kills.

That was funny...even I laughed a bit. I was actually trying to figure out why you didn't jump in the tank since you ran by it.

Also, I had a TOW...one of many instances that I choose not to use it.

Honking is awesome! In the lobby, I spent the first 5 minutes just driving around honking trying to find somebody. L1 when driving the jeep, I think...might be R1.

i did have an interesting point in the one ctf map. I was driving my jeep carrying the flag when I was hit from behind by a warhawk. I then found myself in mid air over water. I landed on the other side of the water which was right next to my base. It was insane.

When I got you and Digi in the skies above me, I gotta do something for my team Plus you guys killed me at the base and on the way back, I got attacked by about 3 hawks in the sky and a tank all at once while trying to get accross the bridge.

Im suprised you didnt TOW me as I hid around the boulder. I was going to go for that tank but I knew it was what you expected, so ha!

Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night

Got my copy in the mail yesterday and got a chance to play it a bit last night. It is much different from the demo in that the players are much more advanced. I'd say that I've been dying approximately every 45 seconds. That seems to be common though, because the screen was constantly scrolling through deaths so it seems that's the type of game this is, and that will take some getting used to.

I'm getting annoyed with the server selection screen though, I wish I could sort out the games with maps I don't have because I keep clicking on rooms and get booted for not having the boosters. I say it takes about four or five cancellations before I finally get loaded in to a room, and that time adds up quick and really turns me off on the whole experience. I plan on diving into the tutorials tonight, so hopefully I'll last a bit longer when I get back into the servers.

The game is 2 years old, so the folks still playing on public servers are really good...and there's just enough buttholes who will create new PSN profiles to play on rookie servers to ruin that experience.

I think most of us ONLY play the game on Tuesday nights. I know that's the case for me anyway. You should be able to live for a few minutes even as a brand new guy, and most of us will give you some space early on.

You should be able to sort into rookie servers and gametypes, and the booster maps should be indicated by asterics next to the server name, but I really wouldn't bother with any of that. Just play with us. Send me (frizby) and jdpatri (flipperbaby) a friend invite and jump in our game per the instructions in the OP.

Hopefully, we'll see you on Tuesday!!!

Yeah, that's a fun map in some modes, but it's not much of a lobby...just too big.

That was probably me. I like to hit jeeps from behind or in the side in full afterburner. The collision takes half of my Warhawk's life, but the results are often comical.

Yeah, I thought it might be an interesting lobby despite its size, but it just didn't work out that well.

I agree with whoever suggested the next thread needs to be named: "Weekly BALLSday Warhawk Night Pt 2"

Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night

I'll be on at 8:00 EST, but can't stay after 10:00 due to the new 90 minute episode of Sons of Anarchy, which is cool because that's around the time the DLC maps kick in I believe.

My PSN is JohnSlider or John Slider, can't remember, but you'll know it's me. See you guys tonight!

Edit: Good thing I read the rules, Mine Jeep is my favorite offensive weapon, but I see no mines. Should make this interesting and challenging. Can't wait to change up my game. haha

Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night

I use the mines a lot in other games. It probably pisses people off. I put them all over the place, usually in doorways, on vehicles, and near flags. I enjoy putting them on moving vehicles, then watch them drive away and blow up.
