Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night

Lately we've been using expansions for the first map (a lobby) and the last three. The six middle maps (maps 2-7) are all standard.

Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night

Folks without the booster packs should be able to play from 730-930 without interruption, and if you commit to coming, I think we can make the lobby a non-DLC map.

Not sure whether I'll get to uncharted with trick or treating on deck. I really want to try horde mode though!

Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night

I finally got to play some co-op Uncharted yesterday. That's fun stuff.

Chew/Flip...would love to play some "horde-mode" co-op with you some night. I don't know if we'd be any good, but it would be fun.

I still like the multiplayer in Warhawk better though. There's just something about it.

Put in my order from Amazon so I'll be on next Tuesday. Can't wait. You guys can fight over who gets me (or who doesn't, haha).

We want to have balance between the teams, so no need to worry.

Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night

You hosting tonight flip? If so, please remember to uncheck balanced teams and check random. Also, make sure you have spawn time set to zero.

I'm also digging 20% team damage, but I might be alone on that one

If you can't host, just let me know, and I'm on it.

Suprise suprise, as you are also the only one who actually intentionally tries to shoot their own teammates . 20% may be a bit high for this crew, although I do like that a TOW will do decent damage to teammates which makes it all the more important that it is used sparingly.

Haha. I seriously cannot wait to hop into this game, the shenanigans I read about in this thread makes the experience sound even more fun. I've been playing the demo quite a bit, but it only gives access to one map and I've been sticking to jeeps and tanks, but I realize some of the maps are primarily flight-based and I think that will be the biggest challenge for me. It has been trouble coming over from playing MGO for so long because the format and style of play is so much different. See you guys on Tuesday!

I was only doing that because the teams were so stacked and there was no way to balance them. At 20%, teamkills almost never happen, and when they do, they are packed full of hilarity. Jusk ask Chew.

I use the TOW very sparingly anyway...you have no idea. I have this whole internal dialogue almost every time I use one.

Really, I like that it makes all of the most powerful weapons a bit "two-edged"...including binocs/tank/missiles.

Before jumping in next Tuesday, I recommend that you play the tutorials, work out all of your controller settings, and work on your mic settings (assuming you have one).

And don't worry...we do our best to ease new players in.

It really was golden.

The best part was the delay between the event, the realization of what happened and Chew going "Hey!!" Meanwhile I was on the floor laughing.

I can host again. No problem. New maps? Different maps? I won't have time to fuss much before I load the game, but I can make some swaps though. I just can't do my own investigating.

Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night

You probably know the standard maps by heart at this point...just mix em up a bit and pick something different for the lobby.

...and thanks!

My mission this week is to work on zone capturing and choosing my spawn point. A few folks have that bit of strategy worked out (digiwok) and they are absolutely killing the rest of us. If you can spawn 50 yards from the other team's flag, you're going to get through at some point.

I'll be on at 7:00, but I'm not sure if I'll make it until 10:00 like usual. I'm not feeling the best.

Mr. and Mrs. Meatwad or something or other. Mr. Meat can get a little cantankerous. Mrs. Meat is a good sport about being target practice and only complains when Mr. Meat kills her. Now you're up to speed.

Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night

This could be the night that we really break out with a bigger crowd.

Don't do it yet flip, but this could open up some larger maps as well.
