I don't understand where the other dude was the whole time. I was guarding the flag, you were chasing the flag... and neither of us ever saw him on that map.

Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night
I tried my best to hold back by not going after the flag after picking it up just once on the first CTF game (the only time I scored it was because the flag carrier was killed really close from where I was) But I guess I wasn't holding back enough
Oh, and the lime-green outfit is my 7-year old's doing. He gets to choose all my oufits and colors

Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night
All kidding aside, I really don't know why I got the boot this time (sure, I TOWed chess when he was carrying the flag) but when you consider the circumstances:
On the Badlands CTF (last I played) I started on red, which had the best players AND outnumbered the blue team (4 to 3)
I changed to blue to even things up a bit and even then, red scored in no time (I want to know what would've happened If I had remained on red)
After the first score, all I wanted was to give my team a chance by preventing a second cap, after all, red was already winning, and I wasn't even going for the flag myself.
I was left a bit puzzled.

Had fun the little time I played. Came back from work and then had to pick my gf in an hour or so. This time I flew a bit more the warhawk so I could protect or take back flags. Sorry I had to bail out on one CTF but I saw it was 4 vs 3 one time.

Damn I totally missed out. I had forgotten that I had to run some errands and after dinner, took off. I had than forgotton about Warhawk so I missed out. I tell ya that month without a router threw me off
Friz, I hit game stop the other night, HotD Overkill sells for about $27 used. That still seems pretty pricey. These cheap games have me spoiled.
Hot tip clansmen, go to Hollywood Video, they have ALL system games $30 and under for $5 bucks! Found Metal Gear Solid 4 and some others (most I had already gotten at Target clearnace though)

It's time to start reminding everyone about tomorrow. I expect full attendance. How am I supposed to get any frizby-kills when digi's not present to distract him? I know I've been trying my hand at Warhawking but the same principle applies here as it does when I'm on the ground.
And dammit, Ravenous, you got another $2 for your expansion fund last week (you can thank chess) but you weren't there to claim the bounty. You would have been up to $7. Instead you're still stuck at $5.

Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night
Back from my trip...good times and good food.
Like flip, I'm hoping for a good showing this week. It's been a bit quiet over the summer...probably just because it's summer and at 7PM, it's still broad daylight out.
Sorry I.Flores...it's tough to explain in-game, but it was a combination of things. The first strike was planting air mines and then killing me while I was trying to clear them. The second strike was not pulling out of the blue team's base at northern bridge when I asked you to. And yeah, on Badlands, there's probably no need for the team that's up 3 men to 2 to TOW the other team's flag carrier. I can't tell you how many times I hold back in situations like that...or sit out the match entirely and just hover. Basically, as I see it, the best players have a responsibility to ensure that the newer players are having fun, because it's ultimately more important that they keep participating and getting better. Sorry if it felt arbitrary.

I should've told you where he was and taken you with me once, but I didn't realize where he was until there was very little time left.

I saw him. He was camped in the central base in a tank, which is a really effective defensive position. But since the other team was ahead, they weren't making much of an effort to get our flag, and I spent the whole game playing either 1 on 2 or 1 on 3 at their base. It was painful to say the least.

As promised, I also looked at my Target. HOTD was $24.99, but they did have GH:WT for $15, which was pretty tempting.

Sorry to hear that Z. You should probably explain to your employer that you have a Warhawk schedule. I'm sure they'd understand.
I never thought I'd miss digi, but I was really happy to see him in the game last week!
...of course I welcomed him back by pushing him off a bridge in his jeep!

Also, out of all the games I played, I only went for the flag once (On Destroyed Capitol) never again after that.

All = Good, and I'm glad you're trying. Just always keep in mind that we're a small little clan, and folks having fun and continuing to come out is my only priority.
Looking forward to some Warhawkin' tonight. I think I might get my tank on!

That'll work out great. Just make sure I don't hop out and let you repair it a bit before wrenching you in the head. Flip can tell you all about it.
I mostly want to drive the tank because I've been checking out the 1943 demo, and the tanks in that control like turds.

Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night
I looked at GS as well...ended up getting Okami PS2 (much better than Wii), de Blob for Wii, and rebuying Prince of Persia. All three were about $40 after tax. I wanted to get Prototype PS3 but couldn't find another two $40 games to go with it. I have a feeling it'll be $20 in no time anyway.
As promised, I also looked at my Target. HOTD was $24.99, but they did have GH:WT for $15, which was pretty tempting.

My Target isn't so fast with the price drops on clearance stuff, but I'll take a look if I'm out anyway.
Perhaps with the money you saved you could pick up the jetpack expansion. Just saying.
I've only booted one person ever, but I might have to mute you if you start whistling again!
