Hopefully there IS a fund for you to get the DLC, and for once, I'm thankful you didn't have a mic.

I don't remember any other non-regulars in the game last night. I think you might be mistaken.

I know you can't use the full game at the same time...not sure that applies to the DLC though.

At any rate, what's the over/under on Ofermod's cheap ass typing a PM right now?

I'm positive that the shared dlc should work fine, but not absolutely sure.
Worth a try, though.

Now that I think about it, I'm kind of perplexed that Ofer would pay $15 for House of the Dead for the Wii but won't get the DLC for Warhawk. I wonder which one would give him more enjoyment over the long term...

Well Ill of course PM. Its me that the only regular I think who doesnt have them. If it turns out that we cant use them together I can just delete it from my account right? I wouldnt want to mess it up for you.

Ohh you bastard Im PMing him now anyway. If he wants to give it a shot, its all good.

HotD would give me more fun because I can play it with multiple peeps. Besides the dlc costs more than $15

I couldn't see these at work, but now I'm just...wow...that's just terrible. I think I used to have a Skinny Puppy cassette tape in college, and I don't remember them wanting to be Marilyn Manson quite so much. Of course that was the early 90s.

I prefer to have an innocuous username and let my play speak for itself. I think most folks who get taken out a few times by a frizby, an eroc, a Flipperbaby, a Digiwok or a Chew can take it in stride. Being taken out a few times by "tormentor" tends to give folks the road rage...which is fine if that's what you're going for.

I'm officially working on a nickname. I'm back and forth between calling you "tomato" or "duchenator".

Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night

Had a fun time last night. Internet connection died which booted me off. Sad times.

Random question, is it possible to earn badges or the whatnot during our games? Are we a ranked server? How exactly does that work? I didn't know if our games helped our personal "career advancement."

I've looked into it when somebody was nice enough to offer me a few shares, but it was slightly more complicated than I'd hoped. Anyway, I'd love to have a few more maps available to me, so get er done!

Are we not multiple peeps? I'm not planning to quit any time soon, and there are 52 Tuesdays/year.

Sorry to hear that...hopefully better connection next week.

No, that stuff is only in ranked games with 8 or more. We don't usually get 8 for more than an hour per night, and as I've mentioned before, there are too many downsides to make it tenable.

Ultimately, I lost interest in ranking up, but I can definitely understand wanting a few options for outfits.

No way, man! Skinny Puppy had been making music for a whole decade before Manson. If anything, Skinny Puppy has been a great influence over bands like Marylin Manson and Nine Inch Nails.
As for Slayer, that video was filmed more than 25 years ago at their beginings, but right now, they're both legends in their own right.
Slayer is AWESOME live, seen them twice.

Hey if this works, I'd be happy to let you have the other remaining slot. It's not as complicated as it sounds

Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night

I already have them.

I meant extra maps available for the weekly rotation. As it is, I don't load expansion maps very often and usually not until late in the night.

I wouldn't mind knowing if it works Ravenous. I also don't have the expansions.

Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night

For next Tuesday, I thinking about going back to randomized teams. It sucks being on the wrong end of "balanced" teams all night, but it's no big deal to "win some lose some".

I'm also thinking about turning "all talk" off, so you can only hear your team. I think we're on the verge of being able to effectively talk some team strategy. My only fear is that if the numbers are small, it could be a bit quiet...and I know how much you guys like listening to me talk all night.

Any thoughts?

While I agree it makes for better team strategy, we'd all be missing out on the "Bring It!" type exchanges.

And if there's one thing you've been saying over the last few days, we're more about the "fun" (all talk) then the "competition".

But, I'm completely fine with it either way. I certainly wouldn't mind trying it out and see how it works for at least a week or two.

You're absolutely right, of course.

I do want to go back to randomized teams though.

Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night

I was just looking at the first 10 pages or so of the thread to see who dropped off from the early regulars.

I sent PMs to RockyMtBrian (who's probably still playing Red Faction) and CloudVader (who can apparently see Russia from his back porch). I'm also curious what happened to Murray and we hardly ever see EdStein these days.

Hey, I was only in Alaska for the week. It's just that I'm out seeing other countries from my back porch on other weeks.

I think I'll be able to drop in this coming Tuesday for a few, since this week I won't have to catch a plane anywhere (for once).

Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night

Clearly, I'm not bringing teh funny this week.

Will be cool to see you in the game, Cloud. Two bits of advice: If you see Chew with a knife, protect your neck. If you see digiwok in a tank, just go limp and pray he doesn't see you.

Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night

A co-worker of mine asked me to change shifts this Tuesday. If it goes through I will be able to play unless the gf thinks otherwise.
