I'm not sure whether anybody besides Chew was interested in flight school, but I'm just leaving work and won't be able to set up until 7...regular knives and nades lobby at 7.

My Target isn't so fast with the price drops on clearance stuff, but I'll take a look if I'm out anyway.
Perhaps with the money you saved you could pick up the jetpack expansion. Just saying.
I've only booted one person ever, but I might have to mute you if you start whistling again!

If there is seriously a fund for me whenever a good wrenching happens, Ill get those packs! Naturaally I will foot most the bill, I dont want it bought for me!

It was somewhat fun tonight. I couldnt whislte cause my tooth was dead. Who the fuck was on earlier that killed me? Their own fucking team mate! Who the hell is tormentor? Looked like some bright orange dive suit. And seriously Chess, you knifed me?
why?Best part of the night, shooting Digi's ass out of the sky. Felt damn good. Mainly cause he did the worse part of the night: taking our flag, I take his damn tank and he still kills me?
How is that possible? I swear he always find me and digs in like an Alabama tick. Chew you are still learning right? I ask cause I would see you off in the distance doing nothing but shooting the ground. I felt like your a 'specail kid' left alone to do his thing

That's me!

And I killed you? really? I don't remember teamkilling anyone. Im sure that there was a 0% friendly fire so I couldn't kill any teamates even if I wanted to...
By the way, those were some hard games, I was barely holding back, some of you guys are getting really good!

Don't worry about it Chew. You're doing it the right way...working on your defense and then venturing out. I also see you in tanks quite a bit more, which is a good thing and a perfect way to progress.
...and I'm also looking forward to giving Ravenous a hard time for getting taken out by the special kid!

Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night
Forgot to say that I had a good time last night...besides getting aggrevated once or twice. I'll make sure I get my glass of wine and/or Rum n Coke next week so I'm not such a bitch. My only concern is that we had a couple of games with teams piling on a bit (the last TDM started out 11 kills to 0). I also experienced my concern with letting the game "balance" the teams. I think I prefer randomized teams. You end up with lopsided teams, but not any worse than last night, and at least the teams are mixed up game-to-game so everybody wins a few.
I have a couple of favorite moments:
1. Eroc protecting his flag and me hovering over it with a fully charged lightning bolt. He says "Bring it!" right as I let go and hit the bombs/barrels he's standing by, which kills him instantly...and then says "Not like that!".
2. Same map, Eroc has my flag in that little storm shelter thing at my base. I tell him that he deserves what I'm about to do (based on some piling on from the prior map) and fly a TOW through the door and into the room.
3. At the end of the night, Digi, Flip and I are pretty much just messing around with them practicing their flying and me taking occasional pop shots at digi with a rocket launcher...so I'm looking up the whole time for digi's hawk, and I'd shot him down more than a couple of times. Right as time is running out on the map, digi spawns near me and I see him out of the corner of my eye just as he's knifing me in the face. Sweet revenge, I'd imagine, and better because he did it with literally 2 seconds left in the match. We all laughed heartily.
Back on the "special kid" thing. I spent half the night trying to figure out what in the heck Ofermod was doing. On Supply Chain, he was just hanging out in one of the middle bases, which is utterly pointless on that map since you can just drive around them. I initially thought he was just there capturing the zone, but every time I drove or flew by, there he was! On one map he was standing in one place for upwards of 5 straight minutes to the point where somebody almost convinced me that he wasn't playing. Then, on Spire Shut-In, I knifed him as my teammate a few times just to make sure he was still awake. At least with Chew, I know precisely where I can find him at any given moment: near my flag and doing his best to take care of it.

Here is the inspiration on my username:

And enough about my outfit!
Really, it has cost me sweat and blood. It's also all about the intimidation factor. In my experience, if you see someone running at you with an outfit you've never seen before, chances are he's going to kick your ass

We're not really about intimidating or ass-kicking. That's the sort of thing you reserve for anonymous people online. We're all friends (or at least friendly).
I think maybe that's the disconnect.

digi rolling up in a tank... chew swinging a blade... chess primed with a full arsenal on his Warhawk... these things are intimidating.

What I meant is that, if you've been on the game long enough and see someone with a different suit (whether bad fashion sense or not), you know that to earn that suit that player had to earn tens of thousands of points, many, many hours of game play and even more kills.

At the same time, it's pretty funny that I bet most of us don't even know that's why you have that suit in your closet.

I was just guessing that you had a higher rank based on the Tron suit.

I thought you might have been on a separate user-name or something.

I've also gotta say that Flip is coming along nicely! He was doing some strong work in tanks and Warhawks yesterday!

Lol, you should see what you get at the really high ranks, I've seen guys with some really cool camo outfits.
We don't get weapon or ammo perks like the COD guys do, but we sure get some really cool threads.

Okay this all would have been explained if i had my mic. When I first joined the game I had to shit, so I hid in a base and went to the head. When I got back it was a new level so yea, I didnt play one. Now when you knifed me I was in the middle of replyin to a message from eroc so thats why I was just there. I was also going to check my trophies to see if there were any I should try for. So yea, there was reason for my inactivity! Most the time I was at least third rank.
And with Chew being 'special', I kid
He knifed me and got me good a few times. It was just on one map I saw him in the distance and I wondered "What they hell is he doing running around out there away from everything, looking at the ground" It made me laugh
