Lol I think it was you, once, but I'm sure I got at least 2 more on the Eucadia TDM at the northern bridge, while running on the bridge.

There are smaller maps for 4/6 players. Standoff on Island Outpost, Fortress on Badlands, Southern Islands on Archipelago, Garden Showdown on Destroyed Capitol, Urban Strike on Eucadia, give those ones a try...

Just stay away from Close Corridors on Archipelago. Maps with no vehicles suck.

Ahhh...that was Flip...connecting a TOW for the first time (sniff...I'm so proud). I pretty much just hung out in our base on that one...didn't want to get too aggressive.

We generally get closer to 6-8 players, and I find that we generally have more fun on midsized maps if for no other reason than that folks can roam for a minute or two before they 'plode (same reason we don't do mines).

Capture the flag isn't fun on a small map or an asymmetrical map IMO.

I did like the Spire Shut In map though...thought that was pretty fun.

Just stay away from Close Corridors on Archipelago. Maps with no vehicles suck.
Just a change of pace. I normally have a 10 minute dogfight in that slot, but since we did some missile dodging drills at 630, I figured that would be enough flying for most.

A mic might have worked better.

Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night

I was flipper's sniper target practice all night yesterday. I think I got hit on all the maps that we played by flipper with the sniper.
I think chess and I did a good job defending the flag when it was 3 vs 2. Sorry about the trash talk if there was any. Just emotions running high.

Well you weren't very accommodating when I kept trying to snipe from the hip on that last Death Match!

I think maybe flip has found his niche! I don't think he sniped me (probably because I'm always in vehicles), but I think I heard a bullet or two whiz by. I think somebody sniped my tank once, and it tickled a bit.

I wouldn't have given us a prayer of winning that round, but somehow we snuck one in and just hunkered down. I especially liked at the end when you zipped over and grabbed their flag, and I gave you some much needed air support at the last possible second.

I find that rum + coke or a glass of wine makes me much more amused and much less emotional. Highly recommended!

You and me both!

Question: how do you open the hatch when you're a passenger in the tank? I obviously didn't find the right button when chess was driving me around.

Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night

I believe it's triangle.

You can even slip in the back seat when you're alone in the tank (same technique as the jeep) and pop up with a rocket launcher. Warhawks love when you do that!

Yeah, triangle's the magic button.

I am definitely trying that tank business with the rocket launcher. I never even thought to try. And I do love pleasing Warhawks (flown by chess).

I really want the official one, but if my wife sees I'm spending more cash on game stuff or blurays, she would hang me by the balls

Is that going to be a "square, down, triangle" sequence then?

I think chess must of written this: http://warhawk.wikia.com/wiki/Teabagging

I loved when I kept busting your balls pretending to send both of you an air strike with the binocs.
Seeing you run like frightened rats into the bunker was worth it for me

It's probably better/easier to just have the rocket launcher equipped when you get in the tank. Then you can just get out with it already equipped.

It's probably 20 pages back in the thread, but I highly recommend a wired USB headset...you could maybe even buy one for your "computer".

Yep...or just do what I suggest above...the risk being that someone else will hop in your tank and embarrass you in front of all your friends.

I totally forgot about that!

For context, we only had 3 at the beginning of the knives/nades round, Chew, Z and myself. I was watching them have a little knife fight figuring I'd pick off whoever won, but they knived each other and left me with no kill but also in no danger for at least 10 seconds. All I could think to do was teabag them both!

About that, on deathmatch you and I kept killing each other frequently at the same time! It was like 5 or so times we did that.
What was that again about the machete?

I knew I would either get killed right away trying to get our flag back or have trouble shooting hteone who had our flag, so getting theirs while they were defending ours was easier

Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night

Hey. Let's be clear. I'm mostly terrible with a side of frantic.

But because of chess' tutelage I got a few Warhawk-specific badges in public matches.

Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night

I saw it at mine last week, but I think it was $25 or $30.

It might be worth picking up at the B2G1 at Gamestop this weekend.

I'm really hoping for a good showing tonight. I might have to sit out a map or two to pack for a trip tomorrow...but I'll try to get it done as soon as I get home.

Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night

I'll be there.

And re: that damn Sniper trophy.... I was screwing around in a public game last night with the sniper rifle. It was a Collection game and my team was way ahead. I was shooting dudes I could barely see on the 2nd magnification and still not getting that damn trophy. How are you supposed to snipe something that far away?

I got a damn badge for it, but no trophy.
