Re: Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps - 12/21/10

I'd definitely recommend renting it first. I thought it felt like about four movies in one and I only enjoyed one of those movies. It seemed to talk down to the audience a lot in a pretentious manner...

Re: i think we have our first "foolscreen" blu-ray

Using fullscreen to describe 16:9 is really going to confuse those black-bar-hating Wal-Mart shoppers with 4:3 televisions that get home and find out fullscreen is describing a screen size they don't...

Re: Netflix: Warner Blu-rays and DVDs to have a 28 delay

I've never understood the clamoring of certain Netflix subscribers for new releases. You skipped the theatrical exhibition for whatever reason and waited a few months for the disc... What is another...

I saw Cloverfield projected digitally and I wouldn't expect the HD release to be demo quality when it comes to the picture. The limitations of the camera are almost always apparent, especially in...

I hope "The Langoliers" will look a bit better. I seem to recall the previous release didn't deal too well with the grain of 16mm (compression artifacts.) This film really cracks me up, mostly thanks...

So what purpose does "16:9 fullscreen" serve? The "give me fullscreen or give me death" people still have 4:3 sets and will be pissed off by the "black bars," and those of us who want OAR will be...

Nice. I think my favorite episode of the six was "Healthcare." The basketball episode was quite amusing as well. Definitely a buy.

According to an email received from a Columbia House CSR, my account was cancelled (without my knowledge) after "six months of inactivity." This doesn't explain why I was getting and responding to...

In the past month or so I've lost access to a valid account... I hadn't ordered anything from it since July 2003, but I did logon to it every so often to check prices (and up until October 2004,...
