It's weird ..sometimes they (not focusing on any studio in particular) will do the X-Files/24 type sets, with the huge foldout..sometimes they'll go the Millennium type case with the slim type, sometimes single sided discs, sometimes double sided..I wonder how they decide what gets what kind of case design..I just got Tru Calling (FOX) and it's single sided discs, in the slim case, but two discs in each slim case, so there's only 3 cases, instead of 6..

This show cracked me up. If I can find it at a decent price, I'd pick it up. I always was kinda sad that it didn't catch on.

Doesn't surprise me.....it did poorly on TV and while it would be a moderatly good seller on DVD it probably won't stack up to X-Files type sales. Less discs more profit.

Nice. I like it. Although it doesn't really mesh with the look of the X-files sets.

I was never an X-Files viewer, but I did watch this show and loved it, so this makes me happy.

Hopefully they'll be some decent special features. This show cracked me up, so I might add it to my collection someday. I wish they would have kept the boxart in the same style as X-Files, but what are you gonna do?

It's neat that the x-files episode will be included. no need to bust out the x-files dvds and it's all closed off pretty well.

Anyone have problems with their disks?

I got through the whole season, flipped over Disk 3 to Side B, ready to watch the Season Finalé, and the player just straight refused the disk. Didn't even recognise it as a DVD!

How frustrated am I? I hate double sided disks!

I haven't watched my whole set yet but I'll certainly hurry up with my set now.

I forget how cheesy and corny some of the episodes are. While I did enjoy the show I now recall why it didn't last that long on the air. I'm glad to own it since I was such a fan of them on The X-Files but too much time with these 3 characters can wear on my nerves real fast.

I'd never seen the show before, but some of the episodes had me crying with laughter, particular Episode 7, "Planet of the Frohikes" I really liked the show as a whole (well, excluding the season finalé as I can't watch that yet ). There were 2 or 3 episodes that weren't up to the standard of the rest of them, but even those were still very enjoyable

I've watched the whole set and had no problems at all. I'm using a Sony 5-Disc player.

Fantastic show btw.

Just heard from a friend that his copy had a faulty Disc 2. It had the episodes for Side B on BOTH SIDES!

Well, it's taken three sets to get one that was not scratched on one or two of the sides. Thank God Amazon is so cool about exchanges. I had to piece together a good set from the three they sent me.
Of course though there were finger prints all over the discs that I had to clean off.
I tried to call Fox to complain about their ever present quality of product issues. No one answered. I'll keep trying.
And come on, I thought Dual Discs were a thing of the past and now they seem to be returning with a vengence. King of the Hill Season 3 was also on Dual Discs. Had trouble with that set as well.
Now, I must watch the set as fast as a can and check for any problems.
Thanks again Fox for not bothing to produce QUALITY TV season sets. It's a shame that you never feel 100% safe after buying a Fox TV set until you watch each disc to check for problems.
I'm starting to wonder if ordering the Fox TV sets is even worth the trouble anymore.

I blind-bought mine. I love the X-files and really liked the "Gunmen" so this was a no-brainer for me. I have'nt watched the set yet. hopefully it will be scratch free!

The final side of my final disc played with no problems.

I have to say the TV spots for this show had to be some of the worst advertisements EVER for a TV show. It was painful to click play all and sit there for all 4 short, but painfully long, promos.

Would have been nice to think this was an isolated case but received my copy today and have exactly the same problem!!!!

Did your friend happen to get his from CD-Wow?....if so i wonder whether they have a 'faulty' batch of them in which case getting a suitable replacement from them might not be so easy etc.

He did get it from CD-WOW, yes!

They actually refunded him as they had no more in stock.

I`ve got the same problem, I only found out when I came to watch it last night! I got mine from DVD Pacific. I`ve emailed them to see what they say I should do.

Edit

Got a reply from Pacific, I`ve got to send disk 2 back and they`ll send me a new disk 2

I've got the exact same problem. I'm going to try to return it to the store tonight and hope they have another copy. If not, I'll call Fox.

For anyone else who has similar problems and finds this thread hoping to get a solution, I've been told the number to call is 1-888-223-2FOX.

Updated to include the correct number for Fox.

I wish they would've included more or even all X-files episodes they were in as a bonus. Particularly the flashback one where they first teamed together.

I just finished disc 2 of my set and noticed that the sides are reversed. I have both sides but they don't match the labels. Were they all like this or just mine?

I'm not going to bother exchanging since I do actually have both sides, just curious if this was done on every disc 2. I do wish they were single sided discs. They really went cheap on this set to maximize their profit. It's still better than nothing, at least the show was released and the content is nicely done.

Mine is like this as well. I didn't bother exchanging it since I ordered it from Amazon.
