Ill never watch the theatricals again. It would feel like Im missing something.

Ill pass on these and just stick to DTS sound and upconverted DVD for now.

GI Joe is going to equal Phantom menace I bet. The only good scenes will be the snake eyes/storm shadow scenes (like Darth Maul scenes in Ep 1). Otherwise, it will be a poor storyline and bad acting.

Im hoping that AT LEAST the scenes between Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow will be worth seeing. The rest really looks like crap so far.

Seriously though, as a kid, this was my favorite and I havent seen it since I was a kid back in the 80s when we had it on VHS.

Yeah, it was odd because when I contacted Logitech about it, they sent me one that was supposed to be corrected, but it was the exact same one. Maybe they accidentally sent me an old one? Oh well.

Im right there with both of you. The picture quality on some of these older titles is just not good enough to warrant me repurchasing them.

Maybe Nolan didnt want it that way. Maybe he believes the definitive version is the IMAX version.

I know how much of a HO he has for IMAX.
