"The Dark Knight" Blu-ray (Dec. 9th)
Anyway, that's the word from darkhorizons.com via some German website.
"The film will hit DVD & Blu-ray in the US on December 9th."

My only fear is that they'll try and do something out of the ordinary for this release. Just give me the standard Blu-Ray with some extras and I'll be fine. I just want it to sit next to Batman Begins and match... that's all I ask. That and the Burton movies..

I will assume probably around the same time a regular dvd release, This movie might be one of the few I ever buy when it first comes out as a new release.. I really enjoyed it and might take a trip to see it in the imax theater next week.

Me too. And if they do a limited gift set (a'la Batman Begins) I hope the package is sturdy as well as pretty this time around.

I heard that the guy who played The Joker died. Did anyone else know that?

Can we please stay on topic regarding the actual release without all the smartass comments?

Indiana Jones IS the Raider of the Lost Ark.....
I'm curious to read how they're going to address the IMAX portions on the official press release. I'll be there day 1 of the release.
And just wondering, but since this thing made more dough than anything else this year, how many times did everyone go see it? I only managed once, but I plan to at least once more.

Either way, I'll be first in line to get "Batman IS the Dark Knight" on Blu-ray.
