That'll only work if Castiel never interacted with other angels. Since he's been in the presence of Uriel, Anna & Zachariah, wouldn't they recognize God's presence? Unless all the angels are in on it...

Katie was billed as a recurring? regular? actor (or whatever the correct lingo is ) so yeah she was paid more. Cortese being only guest actor is cheaper.

That'd be up to the WB actually. I think Kripke will be up for it if the door to that was even remotely open. I mean it'll be his theatrical debut, who wouldn't be?

Kripke said if they (i.e. CW) extended the series to S6, it would be without him. He had always planned Supernatural to end in 5 seasons.
