I would put The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance right there with Rear WIndow right below IAWL. It's not a typical western...there's a melancholy tone to the movie that I just love.

Did anybody notice a couple of scenes where Gwyneth Paltrow's character was the focal point of the scene, the background music is from Charlie Brown's Christmas. I find it so wierd...it cracks me up.

I like Gene Hackman, but I definitely didn't think he was the strong point of this movie. Bill Murray, Ben Stiller, and Gwyneth Paltrow got the biggest laughs from me. And Owen Wilson's paintings.....
