I think the streaming and robot videos are ironically really selling the PS4 camera. I know that I haven't found one on shelves lately.

I don't know if they're flying off the shelves as much as it is they probably sold through the initial production run. It's surely selling better than Sony expected at least.

I haven't seen a PS4 in stores yet, though Target had a case full of XBones last week.

Xbox is always in stock at Best Buy. They must be making a shit ton of those things because it is available at every store around, whereas an in-stock PS4 is like Bigfoot.

I was in my local Costco 2 days ago and they had a large pallet full of PS4s. They included a year of PS+ and an extra controller for around $480.

Funny.. I was playing once and my son was just talking and I randomly got a Tech Foul.. no cussing at all.. very strange!

Did they sell any controllers? I saw the Xbox One controllers (with charge and play kit) there before Xmas but no PS4 ones.

Didn't notice any PS4 controllers sold separately. Just the extra one packed in with their bundle.

That is pretty impressive. I heard alot of video game journalists saying 3 million would be impressive.

Oh shit! That's not what I meant at all. Lemme elaborate.
Shortly post launch of the New Consoles I listened to a few Video game podcasts . On various podcasts predictions of 2-3 million PS4 units was declared to be an impressive number sold by the new year. (Weekend Confirmed, RadioRadar, Gamers w/ Jobs etc...) The fact that those numbers were surpassed is a really impressive feat.
Don't wanna start a flame war. Wanted to celebrate the huge sales numbers of both consoles being a huge win for the supposedly dead console manufacturers. Only console that is suffering for this generation has been the WiiU but that is not a console considered to be going head to head with PS4/XBox1. Different animal IMHO.

I saw a returned PS4 at Best Buy the other day. It's actually the first time I've seen the system in the wild. It was in a go-backs cart, so I'm assuming nothing was wrong with it. I almost asked about it but then I remembered PS4 sucks.

Downloaded but haven't played. Trying to finish Killzone, but Chapter 10 is proving to be challenging.

I tried it for a few minutes. It's pretty weird. No instructions of any sort; it's a trial and error sort of game where you have to craft things or you won't make it though the night. I guess in that way, it's kind of like Minecraft, but more with a scavaging survival tilt. Not really my kind of game, but not too bad for a freebie though.

Played a bit as well. It is very figure it out as you go along. Right now I'm stuck trying to figure out how to trap animals for food. Pretty cool art style.

I've played it briefly now too and actually think I could get sucked in. I managed to survive till Day 2 when I decided it would be fun to attack a beehive with my ax, haha!

i've never really gamed with headphones and whenever i did they were with cheapie ones

I have the official Sony USB headset. It doesn't work on PS4. Not sure about any of the aftermarket ones.

But on PS3 it worked great for FPS type games (Battlefield, COD, etc). You can hear footsteps of guys sneaking up on you. Plus it's a must if you want to chat. The sound quality was really really good. Probably not quite as good as a home theatre setup, but 100% better than TV speakers.

I'm actually using a Rocketfish HS I got for the 360 about 1-2 years ago. It's USB and I just plugged it in and the console saw it, asked who is using it and that's it. But I'm going to look for a wireless because it's a heavy cord.


I'm thinking of getting a Kindle Fire tablet for reading and music and I thought there was something about the new Kindle OS that makes the Kindle Tablets work with the PS4. I'm I wrong or is this something in the works with Amazon and Sony?
