So, how sure are we that the Pulse headphones are going to work in the PS4? Has Sony said something?

I'm looking for some PS3 headphones, but would like something that would work with the PS4 too.

I know that Sony will eventually release some Pulse headphones PS4 edition or something.

They need to start getting it together with making our old Pulse headsets work with the PS4. I really want to use mine and I'm not inclined to spend any more money on another headset.

They've had these in stock since Sunday at a store near me and man are they tempting me hardcore. On the one hand I don't want to play anything until Infamous comes out in March and I'm not a Killzone fan so it will just sit there. On the other hand, it'd probably be better to buy now and not have to buy the console, the game, and the PS+ subscription at the same time. Decisions decisions.

I think I have spent more time watching people's Twitch streams than I have playing games on mine. You see some...interesting stuff on there.

The $10 PSN code that came with the system, I tossed out my card after redeeming it, but didn't it say the credit expires soon? Or was it just the code that expires soon?

It's just the code that will expire on 3/31/14. Once you redeem the code, the credit never expires.

Do you still get the 10 dollars free from PSN and the 30 day free trial of Plus with a new PS4 system purchase? The reason that I am asking is that one of my friends just bought a PS4 a few days ago and I told him about it and he said that there was not a pamphlet with any codes included with his system.

no, it was limited to the launch editions (basically initial shipments) so no go unless one can find one that has been sitting around or in hand from someone on the secondary market

Per a PS Blog posting tonight, HBO Go will be coming to PS3 "soon", and then to the PS4 "to follow"
Not the most set-in-stone timeline I've ever seen, but nice to know it's on its way. I love the HBO Go app - watching on the 360 is my primary way to watch HBO.

My exact feelings on that game.

It didn't change my life or anything, but it wasn't a waste of my time, didn't wear out its welcome and had a really interesting aesthetic.

Really looking forward to Outlast next month.

Ordered a set of Grip-It's ($5 on Amazon), not because my sticks are wearing down, but rather because I'd like the tops to have just a bit more substance for comfort.

I think that's a big part of it. There's something to be said for a game that knows not to wear out its welcome. It was the perfect length for the story it had to tell.

pretty sure this wont matter if your provider doesnt support it. I have directtv and I have HBOgo on my Roku but I cant use it.

But DirecTV allows HBO Go on the 360...

Here's an article saying that while they won't let Direct TV customers use HBO Go on Roku, they did an about face and allow it on Apple TV. I think these arbitrary restrictions are stupid.

Anyway, I have Cox cable and they seem to allow for everything except Epic HD on game consoles.
