Where are the screen and video captures stored and how do you access/share them? Apparently I've accidentally captured 5 videos of BF4 gameplay. One of them was pretty good though. Is there a way to get them off the PS4 and on to a PC?

Make a dummy facebook account. Upload to FB. Download from the dummy FB account.

Screw that. I don't need the videos that bad. I can't believe Facebook is the only way to share. They need to patch that.

Is anyone with NFS: Rivals experiencing controller lag? I will be playing and the controller will become nonresponsive or significantly lagged (the car action is something I pressed on the controller 1-2 seconds earlier).

Happens with 2 different PS4 controllers. Happens maybe 3-4 times in an hour long play session and lasts for 5 or 6 seconds. Seemed like maybe it improved when I disconnected from the internet, but not sure.

Can't tell if it is a bug with the game or problem with hardware controller or system or if it is just an internet issue.

Anyone have anything similar happen?

I don't remember anything like that in Rivals, but I would think if it were a hardware or system software issue, it would happen in other games as well. I think it's more likely you are getting into maps hosted by players with shaky connections.

Recommend changing your online settings in Rivals to private, friends only or invite only, as the game doesn't really lend itself to either cooperative or competitive online play with friends, much less randoms. That might help, and it also kills the annoying host migration stuff.

Was the controller plugged in when this happened? I had the same lag happen to me. Except it was with BF4 and it was on PS3 (which required the controller to be plugged in to play). I just associated it with new controller on older system. Haven't had any issues on PS4. Don't have NFS though. And I've been strictly wireless. I only plug them in when they're not in use.

Only happens with wireless PS4 controllers using the PS4. Haven't had any {S3 issues.

Well today sucked.

Still doing the delay or nonresponsive thing with the controller in NFS. Playing with my kiddo today, realized it is doing the same thing in Marvel Lego.

Unplugged internet from console. Still does it.

Re-initialized console. Still does it.

Went and picked up two new PS4 controllers. Still does it.

Has to be the console itself right? Seems like I have eliminated all other possibilities. So I call Best Buy and explain the situation. They tell me they will have PS4s next Sunday, but if I want to exchange, I will have to come wait in line for one Sunday morning the 19th. Don't really want to do that, that's why I freaking preordered one. Last day to return is Wednesday.

Called around a little today looking for one in the wild and low and behold, Walmart 3 miles away has one left. Run over there and get it. Come home and hook it up......glowing blue light. No video signal. Un-frickin-believable. Back to walmart to return it.

Any other ideas? Anything I am missing? This problem makes NFS basically unplayable. I am pretty frustrated at this point. Think I am just going to return this fucking thing to Best Buy before Wednesday and be done with it.

Don't know. Mine doesn't do that at all, even in NFS. I'd call Sony in the AM and let them know. You're well under warranty for console and controller.

Yeah, that sucks. I'd go with Decker's advice and deal directly with Sony. Assume you checked the HDMI port and reseated the HD on the one from Wal-Mart?

Thus far, I've had decent luck with my PS4. The HDMI is fine, everything connects fine including Vita Remote Play, the thumbsticks are fine on both controllers, and I haven't had any other problems except...

My PSN messages are acting really strange, and I can't figure out why. I'm not getting some of the messages that people are sending me, and the only change I can think of to attribute it to is the addition of a Vita. I also joined a PSN chat for Warframe, and I don't see the chat messages, but I do see people entering and leaving the chat. It stinks, because the purpose of the chat is to find parties for multiplayer.

I've heard about a "database rebuild" in the settings, but I haven't had time to properly research it.

Returned the PS4 to walmart.

Sony is sending me a coffin to return my original launch PS4, but honestly I think I am just going to return it to Best Buy tomorrow. If I happen to find one locally, might give it a shot, but otherwise think I am just going to wait til they get this all figured out. Bought an Xbox One, and although I cannot use Kinect because of my equipment configuration, just going to stick with it for now.

Just poor, poor, poor job by Sony. I have owned an original PS, PS2, two PS3s, a PSP and a Vita. Never had a single problem with one single piece of hardware prior to this. Now have had two PS4s each with a problem. Didn't Decker have to return his launch PS3? This hardware was just not ready and was not quality tested appropriately. Guess you are just lucky Chess.

My PS4 has been fine so far (knock on wood), but I'll agree with you that they rushed it out (no 3D support?). However, I had a lot more problems with my PS1 (Eventually had to be played upside-down only) and PS2 (laser had to be adjusted) than my PS3.

I did have problems with my initial PS4, but in retrospect it might have been a problem with the HDMI connection to the receiver and not the PS4 itself -- I'll never know for sure. The fact that I didn't have a problem until I switched HDMI inputs didn't occur to me until I swapped out my PS4 for another.

In any case, SD, I bought DR3 so we can try a co-op game of it sometime together.

I had the video out issue with my launch PS4 as well from Amazon. I found one that day at GameStop, and Amazon took the dead one back. Its been fine so far.

So far I haven't had issues with mine either. My launch PS3 lasted all the way till early last year before it died.

thought about KZ which I enjoyed MP in 2 (especially) and 3 but that also requires buying + and with the mixed reviews and the lack of other content I don't think it's worth the investment

well at least I have a couple free pinball tables and demos to play ... Though I found out I can't import my PS3 Marvel Pinball tables since I sold my PS3 before transferring them into Zen Pinball 2

I really liked Killzone SF, and am working through AC:IV now. I think both are worth picking up. I also have NFS:R but haven't played it in awhile. Are you on PS+? Don't Starve is free and it seems like it will be really addictive when I get more into it.

I really dug Killzone's single player, and it sounds like at least some of the gripes I had about the sloppiness of the final few chapters have been addressed with patches. Not game of the year material but well worth playing. It's far and away the most visually impressive next-gen game that I've played. (Haven't seen Ryse with my own eyes, admittedly.)

also why is Killzone listed in the demo section of the store when there is no demo (currently) available (anymore)?

Outlast is coming in February free to PS+ members. To me this is great news as I haven't played it yet and really like survival horror. The PC version got good reviews.

The saga continues.

Called around several stores yesterday. Targets, walmarts, gamestops looking for a PS4. Nada. Gamestop was vague about possibly getting some this week. So on a lark called the gamestop by my house around 7:30 last night and the guy was returning a PS4 bought on Dec. 18th that had never been opened. Held it for me. Get it home and it is brand new. Everything still in plastic.

Hook it up and voila!!! PS4 logo on screen. Get it updated and games installed with no problems. Played NFS last night for a couple of hours with no controller lag issues. Hopefully this thing stays good to go. Laggy Best buy one is going back this afternoon.
