I never played Ico, and I never finished SOTC. I wouldn't mind a re-release on the PS4.

True, I did like the original vision, but it's still a great system. They both are really. I just personally prefer one over the other but don't hate the other guys or their consumers. It's obviously good for business...and myself

Actually looking forward to playing Morpheus (would never buy one but would like to experience VR once) today and finally seeing Uncharted!

Any official word if Sony will allow external hard drives to be connected to PS4? I know its internal drive can be updated. Have any of you run into storage space issues yet?

Having said that, I think I'm getting a PS4 for Father's Day! Or my wife is seriously being a tease and not in the good way

Yes, I can't even get my PS4 to properly connect to the Sony server. It is sporadic and it doesn't at all want to display recent information for any of my games. It even asked me to active my PS4 as my primary and continued to say the servers were busy. Ugh!

I haven't heard anything about external drives, but swaps are super easy.

FWIW, I find that the way the "Library" works in the UI, I don't bat an eye at deleting a game. The icon for the game simply stays in your library with a download button. So I haven't had any hard drive space concerns yet.

But if you feel the need to keep all of your games on your hard drive, you'll run out pretty quick.

I have already replaced my hard drive once as it sucks re-installing a game and then waiting for an hour or two for various patches to download again and then install.

And just like that instant access for the Hardline beta through the PS4 is already closed. Better luck winning a radio contest than getting into that one.

Just got done with a few rounds of the Heist gamemode on PC. Very good so far. Hit reg is already better than BF4.

re: The PlayStation 4 / PS4 Thread: Still Going Strong

had no interest in Arkham before today but that footage looked great and was gameplay vs the cutscenes previously shown

still looking forward to The Order

haven't played a Far Cry game before but that also looked nice ... who will friend me so I can play some (clearly they aren't going to make the whole game available to non owners)

no regret selling off inFAMOUS .... I don't care about Fetch so the DLC didn't do anything for me

sadly my feed froze at the beginning of the Uncharted footage, I'll have to seek that out ... definitely my most anticipated

Here you go -

<iframe width="560" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/y1Rx-Bbht5E" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

Several years after his last adventure, retired fortune hunter, Nathan Drake, is forced back into the world of thieves. With the stakes much more personal, Drake embarks on a globe-trotting journey in pursuit of a historical conspiracy behind a fabled pirate treasure. His greatest adventure will test his physical limits, his resolve, and ultimately what he's willing to sacrifice to save the ones he loves.

Uncharted 4: A Thief's End will be available in 2015. Developed by Naughty Dog.
Guess i'll hunt for a PS4 by the end of the year!

re: The PlayStation 4 / PS4 Thread: Still Going Strong

Watched the entire show...they really did a good one thru out. The one thng that struck me was the sheer vararity of games they presented. It covered about everything out there for all ages and all style of gamers.Once again they had Indie Games showcased right along with the Big Boys. Even though we've lost some till next year we're in good shape for the remainder of 2014.

Biggest Surprise....No Man's Sky...simply amazing
Great to see....Batman and The Order gameplay
What A Relief....GTA V Fall....and what about that PS3 & 360 players can transfer their data!
Finally A Date....The Last of Us....July 29th
The Old Switch-A-Roo....Project Beast is now Bloodborne...wow!
Epic....Metal Gear Solid: The Phantom Pain Trailer
Best Laugh.....Dead Island 2 trailer...just a hoot.
Must Have....Destiny PS4 White Bundle
In Paradise....Far Cary 4....you know it'll be a blast
Way Over Due....Rainbow Six

....and what to look forward to in 2015.....

"Impressed by the Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End trailer revealed at Sony’s E3 media presser? Well, you should. In a post on the Official PlayStation Blog, Naughty Dog Community Strategist Eric Monacelli has revealed a few technical details regarding the game.

That’s Nathan Drake rendered in full 1080p glory, using the power of our PS4 engine. All footage you see in the trailer was captured completely in engine. We’re targeting 60fps for Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, and as you can see, the visual fidelity for our character models will reach new heights. In fact, thanks to the power of PS4, right now Drake’s Uncharted 4 model is over double the polygons of Joel from The Last of Us PS3.

Seeing how well Joel from The Last of Us looked on the PS3, PS4 gamers should be in for a treat when Uncharted 4 sees release next year
