re: The PlayStation 4 / PS4 Thread: Still Going Strong

I got a code too, but won't have a PS4 any time soon this year. Can anyone use them? I can give mine to someone that's interested.

Cool, sent you the info. Hope the code isn't tied to anyone's specific account.

Are we allowed to discuss PSNow? Raul was cool enough to hook me up but I wasn't sure if we're supposed to keep quiet like Xbox betas.

Don't think so, from the email I got -

To use the Beta application, you will need to agree to the Beta license agreement, and must comply with strict confidentiality terms and conditions. This agreement prohibits you from disclosing information about the PlayStation Now Beta in any form, not limited to: verbal, text, video, screenshots, or any other form of content distribution online or otherwise.

Add this cool looking platform shooter for the Vita-PS3-PS4 & PC only. Site shows this originally inetended for the PC but the new E3 Trailer at the end shows Playstation & PC. This really looks fun...

A review of Loadout with some nice details about the modes and F2P model:

And a review that I simply thought was funny:

I hadn't watch any footage of the game until now. Destiny couldn't look more Halo-esque than that.

That's a good thing of course.

I still haven't gotten a straight answer to if Destiny will be worth buying/playing just for the single-player campaign alone.

Is there a single player campaign for Destiny? I've only seen it described as an online multiplayer title.

I recall reading that it's single-player experience would be something similar to Borderland's single-player, which I enjoyed.

I'm not sure how you would expect to get a straight answer on that before any reviews or previews are out and 3 months before release.

You have to go straight to the source.

re: The PlayStation 4 / PS4 Thread: Still Going Strong

With Bungie, you know the mechanics will be rock solid and probably the UI as well. The only question is whether the basic premise appeals to you and how interesting the setting/story is.

I think it looks phenomenal, and I love the art style. Hyper realistic graphics tend to not age well, but a stylized and colorful look will endure. Wind Waker and BFBC2 are great examples where an older stylized game looks better than its newer counterparts, and I think Destiny will hold up well in a similar way, even on last gen consoles.

Another Destiny upload...might be gone soon. Looks like it would be fun with multiple players.
