All of the other functions of the PS4 aren't coupled with PS Plus. You don't need Plus for Netflix, Amazon, party chat, remote play, etc., and you don't need Plus to play any of the free to play games.

But as noted, along with the freebies, Plus members get the best sales this side of Steam, and Decker does a great job keeping the PSN thread up to date with the latest weekly announcements. Here's the current post:

My local Meijer has PS4s.

It's the middle of March, exactly four full months after launch, and we're posting PS4 sightings.

I haven't gone through an electronics section of a store in months.

Release date is May 6th.

Djariya, if you are not playing online you should exchange BF4 for COD:Ghosts. COD has a lot of more things to entertain you in single player. You can even play some of the multiplayer modes offline, with bots.

Because it's LOL that people still "can't find it" when Target has stock. Amazon etc.

I didn't either, but sharing photos of my builds in Warframe has become a regular thing. I'm sure other applications will come up.

Mine has had 1 in the case for 2 weeks now. Same spot. Not sure if it just hasn't sold or they grab some from the back when someone wants to purchase (Xbox case always has 4-5) As always, the only people who "can't find" them are just being lazy or liars.

I think it has been established that there are PS4's out there now to be found. But there is no denying that they have been extremely hard to find prior to the last few weeks.

It is of course possible that it's available in some places and not others.

Or in different cities. My local Targets have apparently had them on shelves for at most an hour since launch.

But no big deal, can always just order one off Amazon.

Why don't you just buy it so we don't have to hear about it anymore. Plus, it will give you a real reason to be in this thread.
