I dunno--it might be the same glitch I was asking about back in July (and got no response).

I got 4 boardwalk tiles yesterday (hopefully a couple more today) so yes it does work! I must have tapped on 10 yesterday so hopefully some people got extra tiles as well.

I'm testing a new iPad Air for my office and OMG the game works flawless, it is so much faster, when tapping you are much more accurate, the graphics look better.

I might have to upgrade my personal iPad.

Still no update over here. Weird.

Somebody (it may have been me, but I admit to nothing!) dropped my iPad on Tuesday and the screen shattered. I figured that was a sign to upgrade from the OG iPad to the Air and you are 100% correct. It's like the difference between a CRT and a top of the line HDTV.

I had to check for updates in the app store and do it from there.

Ah. Well, I went for it. I was tempted to see if I could go another 2000 goo (would only be about 1700 as of right now) but with so many people already getting the update that means not many more tappers in my town and I'd rather pursue the next level along with everyone else. Sometimes I end up a few days behind and I feel like I'm playing catch-up.

Ugh, accidentally tapped my boardwalk tile. See you all again in 2.5 days, I guess.

I packed up most of the Halloween characters. Left most everything and incorporated it into Springfield a bit better. I will swing by and tap some tiles later. I'm not sure any of us are desperate for money any longer.

Weird--I got a popup yesterday saying that ghosts were swarming my Springfield even though they were long gone. I guess they haven't updated the notification for people who haven't played in a while.

True. I'm having to relearn everyone's towns and where the good places to tap are. All the better reason now to tap people's boardwalk tiles!

Except, yeah, it's darn hard not to tap one's own tile.

The fourth-wall dialogue for the quest is pretty amusing. Maybe I'm just easily entertained.

We need to start a list on who all wants their boardwalk tiles tapped, as it is a HUGE help in getting XP and expanding your Squidport.

Let me know who you are and I will tap your boardwalk every day.

When I visit people's towns, I'll try to remember to hit the boardwalk first. I don't imagine people will mind that unless they're desperate for money, I guess.

I just set my characters on four-hour tasks to sync up with the current quest. It's like old-school Tapped Out!

Good idea, I was thinking the same. I have two guys right now, but just checked the list and they are not from here.

Going to check you guys, I think I have the three of you.

It would probably be easier for people who don't want their Squidport boardwalk tiles to be tapped to either post here or PM me and I can make an indication on the OP. Otherwise, my guess is it's safe to say the majority of persons here would rather have the extra boardwalk tiles and XP than the cash.

So if you need your buildings tapped instead of the boardwalk because you need the cash, post here or PM me and I'll indicate as such on the OP.

We should also try to spread out our tile taps during the day. If a neighbor has tapped my Squidport tile and I tap their handshake, a subsequent tap by them will give me another handshake.

With the right timing, we could each gain three tiles per day per neighbor.

And with that I some how (even thought I was not even close) tapped my tile! Catch me again in 3 days. Ugh!

I just tapped a bunch of tiles. It was a wide range of XP I received. One person would be 500XP one almost 900 per tile. One was just 250. Not sure I get that.
