Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

I think it is too dangerous to try to tap on a handshake when they are stacked up, one tile a day is fine!

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

I was able to do it fine in my iPhone. But in my 7'' Nexus tablet, I somehow double tapped.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

I tapped on my tile when I was trying to collect the tile that had been tossed on the boardwalk.

That's exactly what happened to me.

PRO TIP: (I will try to remember myself) Tap on the tile and don't collect it. You don't have to tap to collect it, it will automatically collect itself after a few seconds.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

I've finally got the tile thing going, and have been hitting three in everyone's town that is available to me. I like the boost in XP, and if people want to hit me up to get some for themselves, I'll just leave one in place.

For a few days I thought I was getting money from the skyscraper after Halloween. Then I realized the school bus was hidden behind it.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

Just got an in-game update today in my game.

Looks like some Thanksgiving related quest line.

Spoiler:

Thankless Thanksgiving Pt. 1

Homer and Lisa start it out.

Lisa gets a costume, Sacagawea, to wear and has the first task of the quest line as Sacagawea Lisa.

Yep. There also new decorations to buy, Thanksgiving related, some from last year.

I suppose it's a small quest.

Racish...

I thought the same thing when I saw that as tappable in someone's town--probably yours.

My favorite animations tend to be the ones with two characters. I started running the 12-hour witch one before I realized that Homer was required. I hope the points are awarded accordingly.

I misread what you wrote in the spoiler tags as
Spoiler:
protect cops
so while the animation is indeed funny I was expecting something completely different and the picture I had in my head for it was pretty funny, indeed. In fact, I could see what I had read as a plausible storyline:

Spoiler:
After protecting crops, Chief Wiggum could be impressed enough to say he's been looking for someone who can protect the cops in town. Kirk could patrol in front of the Police Station while the cops are inside with squirrels down their pants for a quest called "Defy Springfield Law."

I had over $8 million so I purchased the popsicle skyscraper, the giant magnifying glass, the escalator to nowhere, and the Sunsphere all at the same time and I still have over $1 million left over in the bank. Exciting!

Did the buildings you mention above give you tons of XP? Considering buying those bldgs as well.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

Dunno. They take at least 2 or 2.5 days to build and I just bought them yesterday. You'll have to ask someone who bought them a while ago.

The sunsphere is a big XP boost, 75K. I wonder if you can sell it (or the other buildings) back and then rebuy for a similar boost.

Yes, they give a lot of XP. They don't give you money though.

Yeah, I usually don't tap anything to collect it, but I was trying to see if it would show me who had tapped it, etc. Tapping it while it was lying on the boardwalk seemed safe at the time!

Since I learned I shouldn't tap all my tiles I've had great luck in only tapping the top tiles and not the original. Proud!

And then today the Witch walked nearby and I thought there was enough distance from the tile but, I tapped it. Shroud!

Thanks to all who have been tapping my town this week. I've had so many work and school assignments it's been tough to get "out of town" to see you all. Hope to reciprocate soon.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

Yeah, I don't have time to visit all my friends, but I try to visit the ones that I know have a tile. So I was visiting you almost every day story... until today that I visited you and found out about your tile.

My tile survived one day!!! And I already have 4 tiles from my friends taps. Thanks!

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

You've been really consistent, Raul3, thank you. I noticed you tapped the buildings on my pier recently, so I knew you were looking for my tile!
