with 10k being the last prize, i'm really thinking you don't need to buy the halloween version of "snake rock" or "snake log." I'm already close to 300 IIRC and just started today. If i can get close to that for every day, that's well over 10k for all the items.
Yep 100 friends on Android. Nexus 7 and one of them Google nexus phones, if that makes a difference. I think you have a glitch or something because everywhere I searched, 100 was the max

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

I just got 7 ghosts in a friends town. At the end, I let three of them get real close and tapped really fast.

If you still have the Cemetary and Pet Cemetary from last year, those will spawn ghosts instead of money. So will the Masoleum (premium though). And from this year, the Ancient Burial Ground spawns ghosts and you can buy as many of those as you want but it costs 40 donuts.

Also speeding the purchasing with donuts (and subsequently earning Goo) does not count towards having earned that Goo, although your numbers will still increase. I assume the same is the case with the collective totals.

And it would be nice if Devil Flanders had a Goo related task considering he is a freaking Halloween character but whatever. And on that note, I can't seem to find my Heck House anywhere. *As soon as I typed that I realized I'm an idiot*

Does that give you more ghosts each day then you normally would get? I have both of those items sitting in my storage in the game.

Yeah, they regenerate 8 ghosts each every 10 hours.

Nice.. thanks.. Once I can get back in my game, I'll put them in place during the event.

The game has been acting up today for the last hour or so.

Bring 'em out. Each of them spawns 8 ghosts every 10 hours. Edit: Beaten! But yeah, those will help.

And on another note, kind of sucks that the "new" kids don't have Trick or Treating tasks. Also you'd think maybe Comic Book Guy would substitute Cosplaying for trick or treating, but minor quibbles. This update is pretty nice, considering it adds things to the boardwalk and Krustyland on top of everything else.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

Thanks both of you..I think this event is going to be easier to get all the prizes. Just on day one I'm at a little over 500 GOO, and that was before learning about the cemeteries and having any of the characters finish quests that reward GOO. First two prizes in one day = good. I think I have 41 friends in my game with about 10 pending( though some of those aren't playing any more). Some of the 41 I have currently don't have ghosts in their Springfields yet. I'm not sure if they aren't playing any more or just haven't gotten to that point yet.

origin.com/account

Go to the privacy tab and add the user(s) in question to your block list.

unconfirmed as I just added about 50 users and I'm not sure which are just starting out and which never play anymore.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

This whole system is pretty dumb when it comes to adding and deleting people.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

Also.. just curious how everyone is handling the gremlins or if people thought of a system to spread them around?

I've released a few here and there. If I'm visiting someones town and taping on a ghost gives me a gremlin, I release it in their town. Other than that, I randomly gave one or two per town I visited that is active.

Download Origin onto your computer and then open and login to it. Your friends list will come up and you can delete them there.

If they go untapped in a neighborhood for 4 hours, you get 4 GOOs, but if your neighbor taps them within that time you each get 2. So I was thinking of dumping my gremlins at the end of day/night, to see if I get a better return from folks that may have signed off for the day.

But since there doesn't seem like any trouble to reach 10k within a couple weeks, let alone a month, it may not be worth it to have any meaningful system.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

There's a limit to the number of gremlins you can dump in any one town, correct?

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

I believe there is a limit of 10 gremlins per town.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

A countdown icon appears in the upper right of your neighbors' Springfields showing how many Gremlins you can dump in an individual Springfield.

I believe it is. Haven't witnessed the animation, but Homer has a task related to him at that location.
