That's not a new feature of the Halloween update. Burns Manor did that before too.

This kinda worked. I got 64 GOOs overnight for dropping off less than 20 Gremlins last night, still not sure if it's worth it or not as I just passed the third prize from collecting the normal cycle of trick-or-treaters, cemeteries, etc.

Also, when I got the Vacuum, it knocked Witch Marge off her trick-or-treating task, so you may take note of that.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

Either this is a glitch or it's always been this way and I didn't notice: I'm losing a lot of Goo going to your towns because if I don't tap to collect it and then I move to the next town, I'm not getting that Goo or Gremlins in my inventory. The numbers don't change. My recollection is that I didn't have to collect any of that with actually tapping it before moving on. Anyone else notice this?

Yeah, I noticed that too. I just make sure I have everything now before I leave.

So let me make sure I'm understanding. Goo I collect and is in my inventory can be stolen by the gremlins overnight if I don't get them smashed?? My goos seemed less than what I Had when I went to bed

You can't lose any goo from not smashing gremlins. You just don't earn any goo from not smashing them.

If you release a gremlin in a neighbor's Springfield and they don't smash it within 4 hours, you get 4 GOOs for each gremlin.

If it's smashed within 4 hours, you and that neighbor split that 4 and you both get 2 GOOs.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

Does anyone have an issue like this?

When I go to visit other people's Springfield. Sometimes it goes right to Krustyland. I have to then move to their Springfield to haunt buildings and tap ghosts.

I'd like to have it just go to Springfield.

when you are on the friends screen with their mini-town, click the middle in their actual town. not the krustyland.

I wasn't even paying attention to where I am tapping on their mini-town when in that view. That I guess explains why sometimes it goes to Springfield and othre times I end up in KL. Thanks.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

This has been pretty fun. I missed out on last year's Halloween, so I'm going to try to rock this one. I like all the new animations, and it's cool trying to keep up with everything.

This is much easier than the whacking snakes event.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

I need to do some research on how this all works. I don't even know how to drop off a gremlin yet.

And what the heck, I'm downloading the whole game for the second time in two days.

I've just kept the cemeteries active since last Halloween since they generate $ and XP.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

It's kind of an art to tap these guys without opening the house or business.

I achieved the burial ground and a quest for Lisa, but I have her trick or treating.

I think I figured out how to set the gremlins in neighboring towns. Glad we don't have to place them like we did the snake eggs.

The gremlins are not as easy to tap on either.

And with Lisa, same thing happened to me. Got animation for a new task for her, but she was still like 4 hours from completing the trick or treat task I had her on.

my android phone has done that at least 6 times the past few days. it doesn't actually go the whole way. usually just about 10 MB before it figures it the game is already there.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

Question for those with more than 1250 GOO. I just got there and the text in the game said that the item has to be equipped.. I can't figure out how.. or is that just the interaction between the characters in the cutscene?

Also, looks like the one site I saw was wrong. The game is well above 1 billion taps for the community prizes, however the first hasn't unlocked.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

What item are they talking about? If it's the vacuum cleaner, tap the ghost on the top right and select the cleaner which is below that. Then you can drag your finger around the screen and you'll suck the ghosts in. The mechanic is kind of weird but it works fast.
